TRU Create & Take events

Haven't seen these mentioned before but local (Dallas, TX) area has 'Create & Take' events scheduled for August and September that are good for free LEGO sets.

August 3 LEGO Chima Leonidas' Jungle Dragster
August 17 LEGO Toys "R" Us Geoffrey
August 31 LEGO City Sea Plane
September 14 LEGO Friends Ice Cream Stand
September 28 LEGO Star Wars Umbarran

Did the one on the 3rd and they gave my daughter a LEGO Friends Picnic set in addition to Chima set because she was a girl... :)

They start at 10am and go to noon...

Not sure if this is regional or national but Toysrus.com/createandtake has details...

Looking forward to Geoffrey set...

Checked out TRU website- previously looked at in store flyer- and it looks like this is only in selected stores in Texas and Illinois... Check above webpage for specifics...

IL and TX only? That is not a very wide area, I wonder why they chose those two states?

@atmail35: I was wondering the same thing. The promo is sponsored by Crayola crayons and I think there are Crayola Factories or some stores called Crayola Experience in those states. I dunno the crayola servers are down lol *shrug*.

That's not just Illinois and Texas, those stores are just in the Dallas and Chicago areas. I would love one of those Geoffrey's, but it's just not worth the five hour drive from Houston.
