He's a Walmart exclusive preorder incentive for the Lego Marvel video game. Gamestop has the Spider Man keychain and Amazon gives you $10 credit. This information seems to be in regards to the U.S. only though; no idea how it's going to be for the rest of the world.
well, for those of us who are more collectors then investors this is a good thing. Just think about it. How much more business is Walmart able to do as far as pre-orders goes? 10 times Games stop? 100 times more then Gamestop. I think this just means there will be a lot more Iron Patriots for collectors to get then if it went through Gamestop.
Definitely cinches where I will be pre-ordering from.
One thing I forgot to mention; it specifically says you have to preorder a 'console' version of the game. I guess PC gamers don't get him but I'm not entirely sure whether they consider the two handhelds to be consoles.

The GameStop and amazon links don't show the offer for iron patriot mini figure, am I doing something wrong? Is there a specific link to the item, thanks

Just remember folks, preorder items like these polybags are fairly infamous for mysteriously "disappearing" from employee drawers when you go to pick up your game. In my experience, regardless of what your local store employee says, if you don't pick up your polybag with your game the first day it's available don't be surprised if they're "all out" when you do show up.
The "console VERSION", in this case, means either the Xbox 360, PS3 or WiiU version of the game. The 3DS and PSVita are technically portable handheld gaming systems so they might be excluded from this deal.
Really lame choice for an exclusive. Should have been a polygbag set, not an exclusive. Classic Nick Fury was the logical exclusive figure for the game IMO.
Got mine ordered, no store pickup so I guess I'll be waiting about a week for this order.
I did notice in my order summary it only lists one item, the game itself. There is no mention of the promotional poly on my order summary, only in the item description of the video game itself. Has anyone else that preordered experienced this as well?
I think I'll check my local store as well to hedge my bets. If the in-store preorder is only a few bucks and their system has the poly listed, I'll preorder at my local as well because I sure as hell ain't missing out on this minifig and I know I'm buying this game anyways.
