Legoland California - any Holiday Sale potential?

Ok - just got back from Legoland California and saw some nice sets at 50% off (Space Center, Cars 2 Tokyo Race, etc). Now I have another set of tickets to use before the end of the year and have some flexibility as to when to take the kids back. Does anyone have any experience as to what would be better timing for maybe more sales/deals - pre Christmas or post Christmas? I wasn't sure if I could get some good deals before Christmas with a Black Friday sort of situation or if they do the post Christmas sales??? I know they are not a regular retailer so I'm not sure if they have a real pattern for these sort of things. Just thought someone might have some insight.

As to blowout sales there (50% off) they seem to happen mostly at random, and sometimes they don't even make much sense. (They had 30% off one of the Winter Village sets last year during the holiday season.)

I believe that this year from December 1-9 (might be 2-9) they're doing 20% off everything, and since they stick to MSRP and have a pretty broad selection, scheduling a visit that week might be your best bet.
