Republic Gunship retire soon?

I have been watching legoshop top seller all the time and recently, i'm seeing the republic gunship rapidly moving up the spots - even beyond luke's landspeeder, battle packs and the new prince of persia sets. Its now number 1 top seller on legoshop.com. I don't know if this is a good thing or not especially if lego stop making it already. Is the republic gunship going to retire soon? If so when will it retire usually? I'm looking for a sale and there doesn't seem to be lego star wars on sale anywhere in canada.

Well, the set has been here a while so you can expect it to be gone soon anytime.

Get it now like Transformers2 says. The set is really nice with plo koon, ventress, and cody.

Heres a list of all the sets going to be discontinued this year. It does look like the republic gunship will be gone soon as we're rapdily almost half way through the year. Lego Star Wars sets tends to have a 1-2 year life span with ultimate series 2-4 years.
