Same here with the dragon battle, my boy will have to have it, so may as well get it now and save a few bucks.

Because it's $119.99, I had to add a $5.99 creator fire rescue. Annoying a bit, but I wanted that set anyway. Annoying cause it had the be a $6 item, because $124.95 doesn't count as "$125 or more"

Looking at my order, I didn't get my free hidden sword polybag added. Bug? They usually list items like that separately in the order.

Out, maybe, but they were (and are) still advertising it. I guess I'll just call customer service after I don't get it.

I didn't realize there was a quantity limit on it, but I managed to get an order in before they ran out (around 2PM). I ordered some of the new Friends sets that were at MSRP. I also got a bunch of Playmobil Olympic figures because my daughter will love the whole olympic theme. The playmobil qualified for the 20% off over $75, but both that and the MC Monday were not stackable.

I purchased a Grand Emporium 10211 yesterday using the $25 off $125. So I got it for $125 shipped. I thought I was supposed to get a Ninjago hidden sword, but realized it wasn't added to my order. So I called TRU and they advised they are sold out so I asked if it was eligible for the 20% off, the rep didn't see why not, so he gave me an additional 20% off. Total cost was $100 shipped! (33% off US MSRP, 50% of Canadian MSRP)

I don't have the free hidden sword in the order comfirmation letter either. Does that mean I am not getting one?

I was able to take advantage of 5 different sales for my order.
I decided to purchase The Battle Of Helm's Deep as I really couldn't convince myself to pay full price. I received 20% off the TRU markup of 160$ to bring it down to $130. Then, I used the $25 off to bring it down to $105. I also got the Free Hidden Sword and the free Lord of the Rings Aragorn poster. Plus another bonus: Free shipping!
I was so happy to get all that stuff for so cheap.

My order didn't include the Hidden Sword in the cart either. I'm wondering if it's just a defect. Cause they say that it will be added to the order when you submit it. I'm not too worried about it. If it comes, yay! If not, I still got Helm's Deep for a cheap price.

I didn't get any of the freebies, either. Dropped them a line, but doubt that I will be as lucky as getting 20%.

So, I was just on hold for an hour with TRU waiting to speak with a customer service person about the Ninjago situation. Actually it was my second time: yesterday I tried but after 15 I decided to try the online problems thing (no reply). So, after I got the service person, they went around for a while and then told me that since they were out of stock, there was noting that they could do. "Cupishalfempty" was very lucky and they didn't seem to want to bend or do anything about it. Fine, partially my mistake. But they seemed a bit jerky about it and acted like I had bothered them and I was as nice as I have ever been.

I have to say that I would think twice about the TRU experience again- especially since I ended up getting my set for about $5 off after taxes et al. Kind of a bummer as I really wanted it to be a cool experience and a new way for me to shop. Complete opposite from the KMART situation a few months ago where they were practically giving me stuff every time I saw something else.

I'd fight that, dho. It bad business practice to offer something for free, then back out of it. Write customer and fight it tooth & nail. Always worked for me.

Thanks for support, but I did write them and they didn't even reply.

She just kept saying "offer good while supplies last", as though I was a little thick.

No biggie, I guess.

I have contacted CM twice. Once before I got my order and once after. They haven't replied to either of them. I am inclined to think that they are getting lots of these emails.
The TRU site does say, "Offer good while supplies last" but I'm gonna try anyway. I placed an order when there was a promotion, and I'm gonna get that promotion. Maybe I'll call later.
They should have us print off our order details and bring them to a TRU store and pick up the free set. Not a bad idea. Though I doubt anyone would take the time.

I received my order today. No free sword in it. TRU is such a company. I still see the "Free sword" promotion on the homepage site. I don't think the company trained its 1-800 representatives. No raply at all after 72 hours.
