[USA] [Massachusetts] Newbury Comics

Post by Mantisking » Tue Jun 26, 2012 5:01 pm

I got a notification the other day about the Noth Attleboro store having a moving sale. All toys and games are 50% off. I'm assuming that includes Lego. It ends tomorrow, so you better hurry if you're nearby.

Newbury Comics tends to carry the medium to small sets with some sort of media connection, i.e. licensed sets like Indiana Jones, Toy Story, and Star Wars.

So....that was a bust. I got there at maybe 5 to 10 and was waiting out front. as the time went by, people started to crowd the parking lot and at 10 some made their way up. The guy from KINKO's, next door, saw us and asked if we were the inventory people. We said no, customers. He said "Well, yesterday was the last day. I think they are closed." I waited till about 10:30, walked to another store, and then checked back. No one ever opened. The sign guys came and started to remove the sign.

Very odd. Didn't look like they had much in the way of toys- just a lot of collectors stuff.

Oh well, but thanks for the heads up!

Nope. They just moved locations to the Emerald Square Mall.

Correct. Upstairs near the food court. I guess I should have said the branch was out of business. Thanks for keeping us honest, mantis.

Did you get anything down here? I looked in the window and didnt see any thing that appeared to be Lego.

I never got the chance to head down. I've been too busy sorting and building. :-D
