I'm tempted since it was like $120 or so when it came out. It's been selling at the lowered price of $90 for a while now, and also at a discounted price when it was on S@H. Just don't think I like it enough to spend that much on a set I'm iffy, just because it's on sale.

Can't agree with you more, even at half of it's original price, it is still not that good of a set.

Sure, the Starfighter's got about half the piece count of even the smallest UCS sets, and it $130 was certainly a steep MSRP, but it's still a very nice-looking model once on display. $65 is spot-on.

I picked up the Jedi Starfighter set from Toys R Us on May 26th. Completed it on Sunday. Great build! Definitely worth the $65 price tag, had I known it was such a good set, I may have even paid the $90 price it was regularly priced at.

Sound like it's gonna be on sale till they are all sold. My store had alot of them. So think I will wait a bit have other sets I wanna buy.

So I'm a liar...

Today I went to TRU to consider looking and buying the new creator beach house thing since the creator theme is on sale this week. I decided to pass on it since it was so new, plenty of time to get it. Then...

I saw that the Obi-Wan Starfighter was still on sale, wasn't surprised. Didn't buy but...as I left the store, I saw one particular Obi-Wan Starfighter set in the clearance area, looked at it and saw that this particular box was final sale, for $34.90. I could see why, as the box was in bad condition, and there was somewhat of a slash across the back of the box. The seals were still on though. Did a quick shake and comparison with a set that was in pristine condition, they felt the same weight and sounded the same. Decided to take the plunge. Just opened the box now, and everything is there.

Nice! Reminds me of when I found a Star Wars Advent Calendar earlier this year on a clearance table for $9.90. The box was open and pretty banged up, but all the bags were sealed and all accounted for.
