Here is a story I wrote. I never say it's lego but I use some character references in it. Enjoy!
The raiders of Kazadum were fearless men who were talented at sword fighting. Each
raider carried two katanas on their back supported by two holsters that were about an inch
and a half long that crossed at the middle. The leader of this horde was an evil man
named Dezmond. He had a scar running down his face and a middle sized beard. He was
heartless as a thrashing river with a glass bottle thrown into it. Heartless as he was, he
was the best warrior that ever walked the earth. He and his raiders went around killing
and destroying as they went. Now only one army stood in the way from having him take
over the whole western half of the world. This was the kingdom of Ciridian. This
kingdom had survived throughout the ages by fighting back. The raiders and their
opponents met at a small bridge. The two leaders and their two captains rode forward.
“Surrender or die,” demanded Dezmond.
“Never!” replied King Adrian.
“Then my army, after killing you all, will burn your city to the ground!”
Then the leaders and their captains returned and the battle ensued.
In the midst of the battle Adrian and Dezmond met. The fought and fought until
Dezmond finally knocked the sword out of King Adrian’s hand. Dezmond rose his sword
above his head and brought it down into Adrian’s chest, piercing the armor and going
straight through his body. A certain ranger, named Hector stood against Dezmond.
Hector swung his sword knocking the katana out of Dezmond’s left hand. Dezmond
clutched the remaining katana with both hands.
Hector faced Dezmond with a look of anger on his face. Hector made the first blow;
Dezmond deflected it and struck out at Hector with one sword, blocking another blow.
They fought for a long time, but finally Hector tripped Dezmond and disarmed him.
“Tell your army to retreat or I’ll kill you,” ordered Hector.
Dezmond ordered his army to withdraw from the battle.
“This isn’t over yet, I shall gather an even greater force and I will destroy this whole
kingdom,” swore Dezmond.
“Then we’ll be waiting,” responded Hector.
The kingdom had no trouble with Dezmond for a few months until…
“Your Highness, Dezmond is returning!” A scout informed the new king, Adrix.
“Gather all my troops together. Eomand, gather all the soldiers you can find in the
neighboring towns and bring them to me.”
The soldiers rode out and near dawn returned to the king.
“How many did you bring, Eomand?” asked the king.
“Five hundred,” was the answer.
“And you, Gedren?”
“Five hundred,” was the answer again.
And from the rest came answers of “four hundred, six hundred, and so forth.
In total the soldiers had gathered an army of five thousand including the army of King
Adrix. Then the army marched to the edge of a river to await Dezmond and his army.
At noon Dezmond and his army arrived. The soldiers of King Adrix gasped. Not only
was Dezmond’s army made up of men, trolls, wolves, elite orcs standing over six and a
half feet tall, and even an evil wizard. But the soldiers themselves weren’t as impressive
as the size. There was, standing in front on King Adrix’s army, an army of one hundred
thousand men and all kinds of different things.
“Eomand, take your soldiers to the right, Gedren, take your men to the left, I will lead the
main attacking force in the center,” shouted King Adrix.
The army of King Adrix charged on the open plain towards their opponents.
“Pikes to the front!” yelled Dezmond.
All of the soldiers with pikes rushed to the front. The soldiers in front knelt down on one
knee and the ones behind them stood up, with pikes on the right or left of the soldiers’
heads. These pikes were about fifteen feet long, dipped in an evil potion that transformed
you into an elite type of super soldier loyal to Dezmond. The soldiers of King Adrix
rushed forward. No sooner had they done this than the cavalry in front was transformed
into ten elite soldiers clothed in black with long black swords and their stallions turned
into humongous dragons with claws of steel. The Dragons flexed their claws and turned
on the cavalry. They swept through the ranks, slaughtering hundreds as their deadly
claws picked up riders and their horses, flinging them into open air.
The soldiers of King Adrix stood firm against the overwhelming odds, but their
bravery wasn’t enough to keep their lives. Hundreds were being killed.
“Draw back to the river!” yelled King Adrix.
The army retreated to the river. To their surprise the bridge was no longer there. The
army of Dezmond was closing in fast. King Adrix and his army were trapped. Suddenly,
there was a blinding light. In the distance a rider on a black stallion appeared. It was the
mighty wizard, Athar, and an army of warriors clothed in black from head to toe, also
riding black stallions. These men were mercenaries from the south who fought for the
highest bidder. This army rode down the hill at full speed shooting arrows. Dezmond’s
army who still had a huge advantage went back into formation. The opposing army
rushed forward and there was a clash of weapons. Swords clashed and chaos followed. In
the midst of the battle King Adrix met up with Dezmond. The two warriors rushed at
each other at top speed, but Dezmond threw Adrix to the ground. Dezmond dismounted
and they began to fight.
King Adrix was a good warrior but certainly no match for the skill and speed of
Dezmond. Dezmond disarmed him, and with one sword knocked the shield out of King
Adrix’s hand and with the other he thrust it into Adrix’s chest, piercing the armor, killing
him instantly. Hector arriving a bit too late found the king dead and Dezmond taking the
sword out of his chest.
“You will die for this!” yelled Hector.
He ran at Dezmond with his sword out and struck Dezmond on the hand. Dezmond
yelled, dropping one of his swords to the ground. They fought and fought until Hector
fully disarmed him. Right as Hector was about to deliver the death blow, Dezmond got
up and grabbed something that was attached to his leg. It was a diamond-shaped object.
Dezmond crushed it and dark grey armor started covering his body until it came to his
face, where it formed a mask that had three spikes six inches long sticking out of the top
and two more on each side. This was the magic armor of Kazadum that only one sword
could penetrate. This one sword was the sword of Azur, a sword that had been lost many
ages ago.
Now it was Dezmond’s turn to attack. He swung at Hector with his flail, his new
weapon of choice. The suit of armor made Dezmond have twice the strength of Hector.
Hector tried to block the blows, but his sword was shattered and he was left with the hilt
and a foot of broken steel. Then Hector tripped as he stood up, it was a hilt that he had
stepped on. The whole hilt was sticking out of the ground. He pulled; the hilt came up,
attached to a steel sword. On the blade it read,
“Azur, Terror of the West.”
Hector gabbed the sword that was still amazingly held together like new. He fought until
he found where to stab Dezmond. He distracted him with one swipe, and with lightning
speed, drove his sword into Dezmond’s chest. Dezmond fell to the ground, dead. The
Armor fell from Dezmond and crumbled into dust. After he died the ten dragons and ten
riders turned back into men and horses. The charge of Athar and the mercenaries was a
success and tens of thousand of Dezmond’s army were killed in this massacre.
After the battle the kingdom had no problems, except one. King Adrix had no son so
there was no heir to the throne. What would they do, without a king there might be a
rebellion. Then Athar had an idea, he decided to crown Hector to be the next king of
Ciridian.
The raiders are the Dastan minifigures.
