Price error on Marvel sets at Walmart Methuen MA

We just picked up the Hulk set for $25. Left one in the clearance toys.

There was also a Wolverine chopper in the regular toy area for $8.

Really the weirdest thing I've come across at Walmart.

I hope someone was able to get there quick and pick these up.

My son and I went to Barnes & Noble earlier and were hoping maybe the Marvel sets were in and we could use some coupons on Hulk but it wasn't there. He ended up getting an Atlantis shark instead. On the way home I told him we'd stop at the Walmart we had been casing for this Millenium Falcon in the Clearance aisle. Still at full price of course and now torn open and a lot lighter. Ridiculous.

Then as we're about to leave I catch the 2 6868 sets on the shelf above with the yellow tags for $25. I was like Scanned them and it came up as check with store associate. This made me wonder what might be in the rest of the store and on the way by the registers towards toys we come across a cart of clearancd toys at the front and that's where the Wolverine set was for $8 (yellow sticker). We walk this one back to the Lego section and found the Quinjet (no stickers) and on the scanner it rings in as check with store associate. They checked and it was $69. At checkout we rang up at $25 for 6868 so this makes me think it really was clearanced by somebody...???

Bizarre. My son really lucked out today though.

Its threads like these that make my girlfriend roll her eyes at me when I seriously scan the price tags of all the LEGO sets underneath the price scanner.

That's the thing though, these weren't a secret clearance. Yellow stickers.

HA! Glad you could get it. We left the Wolverine chopper by the Quinjets, which weren't in with the regular LEGO or the Avengers toys. It was by the far left wall in the toys. Sorry, I should have clarified.

So weird right? They couldn't have had so many as to have clearanced these so soon, and there was no excess inventory of these sets in the store. There were none in fact. They must have just gotten them.

Oh well. Someone doesn't know what they're doing. After the disappointment of that Falcon sitting on the shelf and being torn through they get what they get. Sorry.

I kept looking and eventually found the wolverine set :)

Shame the quinjets were not clearances out.

I saw two Millennium Falcons. There was one in the Lego aisle that was in decent shape. Spotted the other one in the clearance area, opened. There was a bag from the open set over in the Lego aisle too. :/

It must just be wherever you are at because we bought 6868 last week for $49.97.

Argh. I went by both Wal*Marts, which had the set earlier, and found that BOTH locations had the discounted sets sold out! This is the kind of thing that makes me what to go aaaughhhh HULK SMASH!!!

I checked the Walmart here and those sets weren't even available.

Not unheard of. I saw a Friends set clearanced at my local Wally only after a month of it being out. I was like WTF. I waited for it to go down in price even more but someone picked it up. Should have got it at the discount.

I've checked 7 different walmarts in the Midwest... Specifically near st. Louis.... And haven't found anything worth reporting unfortunately
