From the 12th to the 18th, TRU is selling the minifigures series 6 packets at 2 for $5. That's $2.50 each, which is below MSRP of $2.99. You can order them online too, it looks like.

Some other people have posted this in other threads, but there isn't a dedicated thread for it. We should front-page this deal.

I just tried to order 20, but it gave me 2 for $5 and the other 18@ $3.49 each. Without the additional 18, the first two ship for $4.85. So it's 2 for $9.85. Standard TRU ripoff.

I wish! I even tried going into my shopping cart, zeroing out the amount @3.49 and changing the amount shown for 2@$5 from 2 to 10 and when I hit update, it showed the 2 for $5 and the other 8 as being @ $3.49.

I wonder if my TRU even has these instore, I haven't even seen Series 6 there yet. I suppose I should go check.

My TRU. which is small by most standards, had to have over a dozen boxes scattered everywhere. Every cash Register had a box, 2 boxes at customer service, and boxes randomly throughout the entire store. My guess is the production run is huge on Series 6.

Local (Portland, OR) TRU (B&M) decided to put an artificial limit on it after hiding all the boxes up front in Customer (dis)Service: maximum of 6 figs at sale price. Not really worth the trip.

In store the deal was fine, just have to buy an even amount of bags otherwise the odd one is $3.49. My local TRU was similar to pumbaugh's, boxes everywhere. But even at 4 for $10 those few extras soon add up in price. It still has a big bin of series5 too. The best I saw for series 5 at TRU was 5 for $10.

I had been hunting down CMF6 at Targets since they were the only ones who had em... bought a ton at $2.99. Went to TRU and found a box missing 2, then found the missing 2 at the register! So bought those at 2 for $5, and finished getting all the particulars I wanted... now I can return a bunch to Target =)

For those who wanted to know, I stopped by Walmart lastnight and they price matched TRU's current deal. I didn't have the ad but I did have the TRU receipt and they took that. If you already bought the packs bring one back, as they scan each item. If you don't, they have to type in each code. It's the same with TRU.

Hmmmm, the closest TRU to me is about 75 miles away. I do have a Walmart though. I should check tomorrow to see if they have the minifigs in stock and see if I can get them to match the TRU price.

well i stopped into a babies r us because me and my wife are expecting. i was curious to see what they had in terms of toys and stumbled upon a box of series 6 minifigs. and yes the sale was good through babies r us as well. i bought 2 packs for $5 and got the guy with teddy bear and minotaur. i sat there and used the touch technique and got the two i was looking for. so check your babies r us guys. they have minifigs.

Don't count on Walmart price matching if the closest TRU is that far away. They will only price match within the same market area. Trust me. My girlfriend coupons and price matches frequently. While you might find a sympathetic clerk, Wally's policy probably won't allow it. You may also be asked to present the sale flyer but the policy says it isn't required.
