The deal are not as cracy here in Canada, but I did went to Toys R Us to picked up a few Snowtrooper and Rebel Trooper Battle Packs for $7.47. Good deal as those will be discontinued once January comes. Also ended up getting a Tantive and a Imperial Flagship at LEGO Shop too.

So what did everyone get on Black Friday (does not have to be LEGO)?

I'm broke. Total damage for LEGO is about $800 after tax , which is out of budget. This year is the most I have ever spent for LEGO on Nov/Black Friday. I wish my wife will never see this list but TLC must be happy to see my hunting.

I placed 3 orders of 12 minifigures form Chapters.ca too. I don't know what I'm going to do with the Imperial Flagship either since I'm not a big fan of Pirates but it looks cool. And ya, the battle packs are a great deal, I got 3 snowtrooper and 1 rebel trooper. Every wave of battle packs, theres always 1 thats better than the other.

Kmart had a buy one get one 50% off sale. Several stores were offering the Playstaton 3 160GB for $200 but I wasn't fast enough to get one, so I went for next best deal and got the Playstation 3 320GB with Uncharted 3 for $300.

Ah I see. I'm in the same boat as you as my closest Barnes & Nobles is like 2 hours away and the closest Toys R Us is all the way in Everett (near Seeatle).

i had to cancel several laptop purchases because i keep finding better deals. should have canceled the last one because saw yet another good deal today. too late because my previous order has shipped.

as for lego, ordered 3x the imperial flagship when it came back as available in three separate orders. all three are now in "shipped" statuses. *hurrah* i should have ordered more but i didn't want to run the risk of them cancelling my orders. i had that happen to me before. coupled the order with a few battle packs (potc, ac, pq) to get past the $149 min for 10%. also added the birthday kit at half price.

ordered the london bridge + mindstorm at tru + $25 mc promo.

ordered 3x3 the ts pizza truck + anakin snowspeeder on clearance from target.

going to recover a little and splurge on christmas/year end sale. looking to buy lots and lots of fire bridgade, sw and other hard to find sets.

I was very underwelmed by the Black Friday deals. Besides what I bought at the VIP event, I only got the LEGO XXL Box from Walmart in the LEGO department. I bought way too much this year at TRU BOGOs etc that I have plenty of unopened sets. I didn't really "need" any of the sets S@H was discounting...oh well!

I did buy some clothes for my daughter and I, but other than that I decided not to get up at the crack of dawn or run around. MA is so crazy with its "blue laws" that nothing was open on Thanksgiving Day and some places opened at 1AM but I decided to skip the madness this year.

I partook in the Brick Friday online sales at S@H - got Winter Village Post Office for me and a couple of other gifts for others, and my wife added another surprise to the order for me, for the free shipping/Holiday set 2 of 2/10% off over $149 deals.

We don't really go in for all the Black Friday nonsense. I did end up driving near the Palisades Mall (where the closest LEGO Store to us is) on my way home and the traffic for the mall exit was insane. Luckily the Palisade's Parkway exit was before all that mess.
