The Minifigures

We get 12 minifigures! There are 2 new gungans, 2 pilot droids, and 8 battle droids. With the exception of the pilot droids, all of the other minifigures have their own weapons.


Let's look at the new gungans in more detail. The gungan soldier has a very nice shield and his own weapon. For Jar Jar Binks, I would assume that he is carrying "the bombs". Their heads are plastic and not rubber. The detail on their heads and torso is simply amazing. I really like these minifigures!

The Set

Here's the droid carrier and the droid deploying rack. The droid deploying rack can easily be removed from the droid carrier. The droid carrier is controlled by 2 pilot droids.

I'm using these as new droid battlepack

Ive been holding out on picking up this set simply because I'm not a big fan of the droid minifigs. The two Gungans, on the otherhand, look pretty awesome. I wouldn't mind adding them to my collection. May just have to wait for some sort of sale to pick this up.

While I really like the Gungans in this set, overall I find this set to be lacking for a $35 set (droid carrier does not impress me one bit). The US MSRP of $25 is a fair price for what you get.

Good review. I think that the new gungans are better than the old ones. I think it has something to do with more detail.
