Background
After I fell in love with this set from the sets released in 2010, I kept an eye out for any sale to be able to nab up this theme. I think I got it at TRU before they do their TRU markup with 25% off (so like $3.50). That's less than the cost of lunch! Nom nom, course I had to eat it up.
Small little box. I actually don't like these because you have to put a lot of work into opening it if you try to keep them in the best condition as possible (can you tell I'm a wee bit OCD?)
Minifigs I apologize. My camera does not like to take good pictures of minifigs. This set only comes with the one, and it is in their new 2011 yellow uniforms.
Instruction The instructions are in a small folded up note. It folds out into a monster big page with only a few steps.
Parts/Stickers This theme is sticker happy, so of course even a $5 set has to have stickers...

Construction This theme like to incorporate some kind of undersea Greco-Roman style to tie back to the theme. A cup at the bottom of the ocean... ok. I don't mind having another snake, thanks!
The jet is built like most of the other jets. Has robots arms to be able to grab up the shinies at the bottom of the ocean floor. There is no sitting for more of the vehicles in Atlantis!
The Jet is pretty flexible in what positions it can make. Interesting, but wouldn't make much sense to glide in them, but I could imagine some 'situations' which could be played in :)

This set is a very quick and easy build. Even for such a quick build, it does include some nice tricks. I always appreciate them not just going the easy route.
Appearance:
This set is a cute set, but I don't see anything particularly awesome about it. I like how it is different then the other sleds/jets.
Pieces:
There aren't many pieces to this set, and they aren't very unique in nature so I can't give it a high score in this department. I like the props to use for other MOCs, and the snake, but otherwise your buying the set for the minifig.
Value:
This set has a great PPP, and for the pieces you get with the set, and the playability, the value is great. If you get a discount (and you should if you live by my motto!), then the set is definitely worth it. Some people would probably buy the set just for the minifig.
Playability:
This set has decent playability. By itself it seems just too small, and of course, with only 1 minifig, you can just put around by yourself all day. For $5 it is great for an add-on to another set, so had to give it credit for that.
Overall:
This is a decent set, and I would recommend purchasing this set. For only $5 or less, you can't go wrong, but you should really pick it up with another set. I'm not sure if I'd buy multiples of this particular set as there isn't really anything particularly special about it.
