7570 Ostrich Race is one of six Prince of Persia sets released in stores (not counting merchandise). It cost $20.00 (£14.99), came with 169 parts and 3 minifigures.
Like most boxes of late, the box is very well done. It has a great background with loads of details.
The instructions were undamaged (as is normal with smaller sets). There was no sticker sheets. The ostriches were packaged separately from the parts.
The Build
The main issue with ground builds is that they tend to be a bit weak when building. A cool technique was used for the gate opening system, but overall, the build was a bit drab.
The Set

The set is small. It only has 169 parts, so it's around the size of a set that costs 15 dollars.

The place where Sheik Amar sits is pretty boring as well. It has some details, but the lower part is odd. There is a bit of rockwork that connects to some things.

7570 gates Front
The main portion of the set is the starting gates. It's a clean section and well done. The gates have an opening mechanism-pull a piece back, and they open. Unfortunately, it's not all the way-having to sidle around the gates would surely put a kink in the starting portion of the race.

You can see the mechanism in this image it's very simple-something slides over a plate, pulling some robot arms. That's the maximum extent to which they open-the problem is, it's still partially in the way of the ostriches.
Parts
As you all would have surmised, the main part of this set is the ostriches. It's an awesome animal. The head does come out, but be warned-it is rubbery, so like certain other items *cough*vines*cough* it will shed and become useless. But it's still better than the Dagger of Time...
The set comes with 6 Dark Tan Droid Arms, as well as 12 brown poles and three larger ones. The other important bar part is the 6 modified 1x1 bricks with clip.
There are numerous tiles in the set, as well as a few dark tan jumper tiles.
Sadly, you only get two prince of persia orange bricks.
28 is certainly a large number of brown 1x1 cones.

Minifigures
The set comes with three Minifigures-Ostrich Jokey, Dastan, and Sheik Amar.
Dastan re-uses the Enemy Boxer's torso. He has his detailed pants (I think those are metals on them), the double sided face, long (hippie) hair, and neck holder.
The Ostrich Jokey has a simple torso, albeit a very nice one. His grin looks a bit evil, and the bandana piece fits him perfectly.
Sheik Amar looks both rich and poor at the same time. He also has a great turban.

Parts: 4.5/5-A low number of parts, but the ostrich is fantastic and you get many parts in new colors
Minifigures: 5/5-the set costs 20 dollars, but with three figs and very nice ones, it's a great deal.
Build: 3.5/5-Not very fun
Set: 4/5-It could have been better.
Price: 3.5/5-Not very good...
Overall: 4.2-A decent score. Not the best though.
