The part counts are outrageous. Amodularlife released a link to the catalogs, and they list the City as having 130 parts and the Ninjago as having 140.

It would put them both at the low end according to my notes. I estimated the Brickmaster "books" as having the following part counts;
Castle: 141 pieces,
Atlantis: 154 pieces,
Pirate: 162 pieces,
Star Wars: 251 pieces.

Castle and Pirate were both $24.99, with Atlantis and Star Wars the same price as the upcoming City and Ninjago.

Yep. All too much...Costco had these for a decent price. The Star Wars is probably the best price, but still....blargh.

Which is why you buy them on sale or with some sort of coupon. That's how I got the three I have, with a Borders % off coupon.

well good thing is they count as books in a lot of sales, so I got my books close to the $0.10 per piece range
