The twin to my Snowman Review. Spoiler Alert: this was a more interesting build than the snowman.
The final build is definitely very pretty and simple, as the polybags usually are. The build itself is pretty genius but simple and effective in it's execution.
First there is the base of the tree. Just a few simple blocks and a sloped piece to represent presents. The circular pillar piece in the middle will form the base of the tree.
The tree parts are put on quasi helicopter blades and adorned with some studs of gold silver and red. Quite festive. The top part are two cones on top of each other with a diamond stuck in the middle.
These parts are then stuck on this lance. The only fault I can find with this is that the lance isn't brown, like a tree's bark would be. Otherwise it works well.
Then all stuck together. Makes a pretty mobile tree 8-)
Final product again.
Over all this is a pretty decent set. There aren't any real rare pieces here, although gold and silver studs are always welcome in my book. The build was definitely more interesting than the snowman, and a bit easier to look at.
Look for these on sale most likely further on after the holiday season. Go get some.
