What the?...Happy Meal toys?

I didn't know Lego ever did happy meal toys, but I can see why it hasn't be revisited.

Heh, those are the not so great ones. Back a while ago, they had actual parts that looked like more than plastic. I have one of those hockey guys, plus a nick from McDonalds. They've also had large plastic Piraka, Toa (2006-2008), Barraki, and Makuta (the small ones from 2008). But before that....there were actual System sets with real parts. And some had the McDonalds faces on them. At the time, those faces freaked me out. So I scribbled over them with sharpie...they also had the "McToran", or Tohunga in 2001, which were some nice BIONICLE impulse-sized sets.

Heh. I actually liked Galidor...until recently. It's just not good for MOCing-too Action figure-y, like the HF 2.0.

They've done quite a few Happy Meal toys.

The newer sets are VERY underwhelming compared to regular LEGO, but they have done some McDonald's-themed polybags in the past.

I stumbled on a near complete set of the Classic series from 1999 at a local flea market for 25c ea. a year or to two back:-

I'm 36 and I remember Lego/McD doing polybagged city sets when I was younger. They were legit polybag type, not the junk plastic figures thats been done more recently. My son likes the Racer sets they put out not too long ago. They only came with three pieces but the different racer pieces were interchangeable and you could use real legos with them.

I got a bin of lego at a garage sale recently that had the McD character faces printed on bricks. I don't know what use they would be other than for collectors.

The Batman ones were truly horrible. It was marked Lego, but didn't even match to the standards of Best-Loc

I have several of those printed faces pieces from a tag sale find.

After those sets LEGO just got some China company to make HORRIBLE toys with the LEGO name on them like LEGO Batman.

Yeah I remember seeing my niece with a few of those horrible toys. China plastic is just ruining LEGO.
