Separatist Capital Ship

It is my understanding that every faction in the Lego space universe has had a base or super capital ship.

Futuron and Unitron had the Monorails, Just about everyone else had regular bases with exception of M-Tron with the Multi-Core magnetizer. Then a far few had super capital ships like SPII, UFO with no bases at all.

What gets me is that each faction in SW has a base, playset or super capital ship except for the Seperatists. Though I like having troopers of all sorts, I kinda need some opposition.

The Rebels have Hoth Base, Home One, Tantive IV (limited release of Cloud City) [and just about every Falcon short of the UCS]

The Empire has Endor Base, and the Mini fig scale Star Destroyer, (the AT-AT?) [Deathstar...see Laat/OT]

The Old Republic has the Venerator, Clone Turbo Tank v.1 and v.2 [Im not sure the Laat/OT counts as its well above the price mark of every set I am listing]

The galactic residents have Jabba's Barge, Mos Espa, Jabba's Palace, (Jawa crawler if it suits you.)

The Separatists have what the MTT? that hardly makes a base, is no way a capital ship, just a big carrier of... battle droids.

My question is: Should the Seps have a capital-set?, what would it be like? I am thinking maybe of the Grevious' Flag ship in ROTS or the CW Malevolence but I am pondering the practicality of such designs.

I'd be interested in the mountain base they had on Genosis. Depending on how they pulled it off they could do a whole years worth of SW CW theme based around it and have the actual mountain base as the main set. It would be a pretty sweet set IMO.

they actually released instructions to make the Malevolence using most of the '09 sets.

Guess I'd still like to see a packaged or mini-scale Capital ship :)

This thing is huge for a mini-scale ship. I built it in LDD following the instructions. I was hoping to build it from my kids inventory, but they don't have many of the 2009 sets so no such luck. I made two cosmetic changing the to the stand and the part count came out at 721 pieces! It's approx 68 studs long depending on how you count the tail/engines. It looks awesome.

I'm thinking of kit-bashing / bricklink orders to build this. The mini-scale star destroyer is looking like a must for this set.

i agree on the mountain. it could have little tunnels sprouting from the back and front. it could also feature a giant laser on top. it would go great with my clone base compound :
oh and did you come to brickworld 2011 back in march. :)
