Working on the Toy and Plastic Brick Museum

Morning all.

I have been rather silent for the past few years.

I have been working on the museum, getting better from a long bout of sickness, and trying to get back in action in the LEGO based community.

I closed my online store, and plan to keep it that way.

I am still selling goods (mostly offline person to person sales), and I am going to continue to help create items for the museum to show.

I stepped down as manager of the museum due to my huge amounts of needed time off.

The museum has taken a wonderful turn in my wake. Birthday parties.

While I had built the museum for AFOBs (adult fans of the brick), kids loved it!

We now have multiple parties each week! And they have been a big hit.

We are also working on reinstating our guest builder program. This program has created some very interesting and fun items for the museum over the past 3 year. YES, it has been 3 years!!! I was amazed as well when I figured it out!

I started the museum as an idea 6 years ago, but when people continued to stop by to see what I was doing all the time it seemed like I was open.

In fact the 1st family to ever stop by the museum (almost 7 years ago) came back again a few years later to see what had been done to improve the place.

They were very happy with the improvement.

It is still a work in motion! And with increased health and time I hope to continue to increase, build, and make the museum a unique and weird place to be.

Wow! You probably know a TON about LEGO! I'll be sure to visit sometime! By the way, you should consider joining brickipedia-you could add a lot of your knowledge to the site!

So glad I came upon this post:) I read "LEGO: A Love Story" by Jonathon Bender last month. He had so many great things to say about your museum. I wish I lived closer to Ohio. Thanks for the update and weblink.
