Got a flawed CMF (series 12) - What to do?

Post by Ocean » Sun Feb 07, 2016 4:22 pm

I picked up some Series 12 at TRU today. I finally got the orange and purple jester.

Unfortunately, he has a flaw on him, where the purple from the back left side of his hat bleeds in a lump and then line into the orange front left side. This error is 3D in that you can feel this area as rough and raised with your finger. It starts where the seam is on his hat so I guess it is an injection error.

Does anyone know what I can do about this? Will LEGO help me deal with this issue? Could I take it to the LEGO store? I don't think TRU takes opened blind bags back for returns.

I'm not aware that there is anything you can do since the part is out of production. I wouldn't mind seeing a picture of the issue...

You might be able to sell it for more than it's normally worth and just buy another.

Also could try to give Lego a call or email, this is their number....
