TRU is running a Lame 5-10% off sale which used to happen a lot more often.

What's special is, it also includes the latest Passenger Train 60051, the latest Train Station 60050 and both of the track packs, 7499 and 7895 as well as the city crossroads/junction baseplates 7280.

Excellent opportunity to stock up on these if you're in train building as you can never have enough of the tracks and they rarely go on sale.

TRU is playing the "up to 20% off" game with some of the items (and other Lego sets) so use caution. Looks like bigger sets have the full 20%, but not all the smaller ones.

For example, 7280 and 7895 are $18.97 instead of $19.99. On sale, but only about 5%.

It is that time of the year to easily pull something over clueless parents\grandparents. Anything less than MSRP will atract them. Most of us will do anything for our kids!

The only time I shop there is when they have something like the Rocket Raccoon that I can't get anywhere else.
It's pretty sad when a company has to resort to hoodwinking grandmothers to keep their business model a float.
