Sears Sale $20 off $100, or $50 off $200

I remember they had some lego 20% off recently, and I got a bit excited hoping you could stack (e.g. 50 off 200 = 25% additional).

But epic fail, if you search for Lego on sears website, they have all of 6 sets. Two cinderella, 4 chima, and one lego game (hobbit). So instead of saying they are excluding lego, they just removed it from their website?!?

Thought I'd mention it to anyone who wants to keep Sears in business a little longer...

Oh, I guess I shouldn't be so mean. I suppose if you really liked or had use for parts the Chima Gorzan's Gorilla Striker, it is on sale for $41.99... you could buy 5 of them which would get you the max discount to make it worth $31.99 (msrp is $59.99) before taxes. Still worthy of a face-palm IMHO.

Last time I ordered from sears and shipped to one of their stores, the LEGO box (they did not bother to brown box the shipment of anything) was massacred beyond comprehension - dents, creases, puncture holes. After asking for a refund, they did not refund the shipping cost. Anecdotal but beware.

The 40% off sale last week + the $10 or $15 off coupons would work out better. Picked up Lion Chi Temple for just over $80 before GCR cashback.

Looks like even Sears is getting smart. lol
