LEGO Store (Laval)

[IAmElim]

Just to let you know, at my local LEGO Store in Laval, there are discounts on a few sets that are NOT on discount on shop.lego.com. For instance, some of the smallers sets of Super Heroes line, a few of the TMNT sets and some Friends sets (including Olivia's House 3315). The discounts are 20% off. Of course, no discount on exclusive sets...

I read over on Brickset that these are going to be a weekly thing. They are putting certain sets at 20% off just like TRU and Target.

Not totally impressed with Lego's efforts here, considering 20% off = US MSRP. But I guess it's better than nothing.

I guess I'm just bitter with the 20-30% premium we pay compared to the US.

Not sure if this is the typical case or not, as far as lego retail stores go. In the short time the lego store has been open area in my area, this is the first I see of a rotating special.

It's not terribly good, but at the same time, better than nothing... and if you consider you get 5% back in VIP points and sometimes a free polybag, it makes it slightly better.. of course, none of the exclusives are on sale... The lego store near me had 3 Emporiums left, but all had damaged boxes which was disappointing..
