Really? That's very odd. First I heard of it...
Yeah it sounded odd to me that not everyone could vote. I thought maybe it was lost in my Email but I couldn't find it and whether its true or not, that os the story I was given.

Remember voting about the time series 4 was current. Odd that the selectees are all from Series III...I was hoping for S1 or S2 in the mix.

it was a while ago but I'm pretty sure I voted for the spartan zombie and um...not sure about the 3rd one. There is a thread here somewhere that some members posted to with their choices.

edit: it looks like we only had one choice and i voted for the robot.

The more I think about it, I'm having a hard time with the fact that is is 5 figs from the same series. Granted they said something like it would depend on what parts are available, but I think if they were going to release a set from S3 only, why bother to ask for votes from S1 and S2? I really don't believe the voting went this way. It's nearly 1/3 of the series.

The only thing I can think of is that since S1 and S2 were "harder" to get and not as many people jumped on the band wagon with those, maybe some who voted weren't that familiar with S1/S2? That seems like a stretch though for sure.

It's odd, really, because a lot of CMFs1 pieces made it to BaM stations in LEGO stores... so it wasn't necessarily a supply issue - though the accessory availability could be the main problem, I suppose.

I just hope they pull out the stops and upgrade these figures. Instead of the peg leg, the new cybernetic leg from Monster Hunters would look great in dark metallic gray on the CMFs3 Space Villain.

That would be a reason to purchase this.
