I had a difficult time finding Mrs. Scratchen-Post but I finally got one after feeling ~200 bags. I just wanted the cat more than anything. I got Wyldstyle, Wiley Fusebot, Abe Lincoln & Marsha also. Still might get President Business, Pants Guy, Larry since they would fit into a city setting. I replaced Wiley's head with a yellow one and gave him brown hands. Want to do something similar with Calamity Drone but would have to find a way to paint the grey on her torso yellow.

Yes. This lady was hard to feel/find.

Today, I finally had chance stopping by local retailer to pick up some movie series CMF. As other members mentioned, the characters in the bags were hard to identify thru "feel" method. It was taking the longest time to look for the one I needed comparing with previous CMF series. I was glad Mr Gold was not in this series. Here is what my experience was.

Since both "Hard Hat Emmet" and "Scribble-Face Bad Cop" package came with 1X2 tile, the only way to identify them relied on the existence of handcuff. It required lots of patience to find Emmet by making sure no handcuff in the bag. I were lucky that I just need 1 Emmet.

Unlike previous CMF that 2x2 tiles only assigned to one specific character in each series, there were three characters that had 2x2 tiles in this series. Thus, it took extra time to look up second unique pieces.

On the other hands, it was nightmare when I had "’Where are my pants?’ Guys" on hand because I kept looking for the accessories while this bag actually did not contain any accessory.

Taco guy and Mermaid were easiest to find.

So, good luck for those who will be using touch and feel method.

In regards to the Emmett/Bad Cop problem, Emmett's helmet has lines on it that you can feel whereas the bad cop helmet is smooth to the touch. I agree this series was by far the most time consuming to identify.

I have gotten six unique figures so far, just by doing a quick feel to ensure there were no duplicates. Surprisingly one of those was cat lady, and I just grabbed the first six in the box...

I have not got mermaid or taco guy yet, so they may be easy to ID. I am new to collecting starting with this series, so I anticipate some unintentional duplicates to come

We finished our collection, but have not opened them all. Hopefully I was correct in identifying them!

I found some extra mermaids for my daughter so she'll be happy...the blue hair is fabulous! the mermaid seems pretty scarce.

There are only 2 mermaids per box. Also 2 per box are the Shakespeare, Staplebot, Mrs ScratchenPost, Gail, and Calamity Drone. So in other words, of the 5 female figures in this set, 5 of them are rare.

I don't understand what all the problems are. I found 9 different guys at Target without even knowing all the guys I was looking for.

And the main characters girlfriend in that black dress is amazing.

I went to our local Toys R Us to use a $5 rewards coupon and they had only about 12 Minifigs left. Surprisingly I still found the Mermaid and Wyldstyle after feeling only a few packets. At $3.99 each, I wasn't paying TRU's overpricing without the coupon. Most people probably already know this, The Mermaids Clam shell opens. You can put the red gemstone in it.

I can't tell you how many PANDA HEADS I've massaged to find the complete set!!!

I agree with y'all mermaid and the cat lady are very difficult to find.

I usually resort to ebay once I only have one left to find. For this set it was Gail (female construction worker).

A few of the minifigures are very minor character in the movie (e.g. the racoon-hat robot guy). I really really wish they include Michelangelo in series 12 instead of the racoon-hat guy!

I can't seem to find a Gail in any pack that I've searched...Guess I could just buy a construction pack and get a few workers....

Last week i returned some Lego movie CMF because i paid $3.99 each at TRU, then i read about Lego S@H now selling out of them, and thought maybe i should have kept them. Fortunately, yesterday my local WM received a new box and i got all of the remaining ones i needed at $2.99 a piece. :) i found this series easy to identify the characters by feel, only emmet and the cop was hard until i realized emmet had the raised part of his hat.
