75% off LEGO Sort & Store Storage Head
75% off LEGO Creationary
30% off ALL LEGO Galaxy Squad
30% off SELECT LEGO City, Creator, Basics, Lone Rangers, Batman
50% off the sets listed below
You really should be the owner of TRU.ca
Of course you probably wouldn't be the owner long, what with going bankrupt and all.
They will go bankrupt either way with their markups and with parents and grandparents finally smarten up eventually. Again, this is Bricktober sale, like many boxing week sales in the pass couple of years, they are really insulting our intellgence with these sub par sole called special day sales. Also some Walmart have already got rid of some of those sets at that percentage I suggested. Have Walmart went bankrupt yet?

Considering the base plate itself goes for $9.99, it's not a bad deal at all. I picked up two in store this morning but probably should have picked up a few more in hindsight. :crazy:

What colour is the baseplate that comes in those cases? Is it the same for both?
Green for both. Walmart have the non Chima, regular cases for $9.99 everyday price. Green plates in those too, the ones that comes with the grey plate were the Ninjago ones. Blue plates you can buy for every day price at $7.86 at walmart.

That superman plate is cool.
Why do we drive on a parkway and park on a driveway?

Whew, another Bricktober done and done. It always hits the wallet hard, but it's worth the savings. Taking into account the resale factor of the free polybags and minifigure collections, I snagged what would have been over $700 worth of LEGO for $430, a savings of 38%. Next up...May the Fourth?

contrast the above with me, first time I did not buy anything at bricktober this year. Last year I got all the vintage minifig sets and their resale value each was about $20-25, $25 max for $100. the sale itself and polybags I think were better last year too. the BN BOGO sale fortunately came up 2 weeks ago and thats where I spent my money this time around. Next up should be black friday USA - there better be exclusives on sale!

Yes, this and the Chapters/Indigo 25% off 1 item + free shipping recent sale. Got every non-HTF sets I wanted with those 2 sales. Now, the only 2 currently available sets I'm planning to buy are 10937 Arkham Asylum and 10232 Palace Cinema

I only got boxes of Battles of Helm's Deep and Goblin King Battle in this Bricktober. Rest of the deal mostly were 20% off and "these" 20% off deal won't be hard to find at other local retailers, such as London Drugs and Indigo. The free minifigs gift packs and polybags were not a great incentive either. Thus, I rather hold off to wait for better deal.

Look, last year the polybag was exclusive and much better one. viewtopic.php?f=81&t=7009&p=56794&hilit ... ade#p56794" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Being said that, I was excited to build my Superman Badge at local TRUs. Lots of kids and parents there.
