Are re-sellers bad human being?

I don't think resellers are bad human being. Without them, where do lego fans look for discontinued set? I agree that aftermarket price for some discontinued set were horrible; however, this price was defined by the market and demand. Resellers couldn't controll it (in an auction), and they shouldn't be blamed. For example, in my case, I may bite the bullet if one day I want the cafe corner so badly.

On the othe hand, as other members mentioned, resellers were taking lots of risk when they kept large amount of lego sets instock. There was no guarantee that any particular set would sell well after discontinued. Besides, many things could happend to their stocks, e.g. natural diaster, stolen, or scam .......

We can't just look at one side of the story, and label reselling as bad behavior. Some lego fans resell their collectioin to continue this hobby.

Personally, I only think badly of resellers when they rush into a store first thing in the morning and buy ALL of a particular set (like say its on 50% off sale) preventing parents (for example) of getting little Johnny or Suzy the set they've been asking for all year.

In this case, the store should limit the quantity per family/person, so other shoppers will have their turn. The store managers should pay attention to it if they realized the item was limited.
