Can a person buy everything online this week and then return it to the store for a price adjustment once the sale is on?

in theory you can but you need to buy them last week, not this week. as you know, tru is notoriously slow in shipping. things you ordered this week will arrive in 2 weeks. so if you order now, your items will arrive 2 weeks from today, which means the sales has ended.

Prob depends on the local TRU. Last time I tried to get a sale price on some items bought online they would only take it as a return and told me the Manager decided whether the item went out on the shelf or back to the shipping warehouse. I felt they were strong arming me in to keeping them....so I came home and returned them for free via shoprunner:) If they are items your local TRU carries the possibility is greater.

I've actually had pretty good luck with orders placed late Saturday or anytime Sunday arriving the subsequent Thursday or Friday. Usually get faster service than from S@H.

TRU has upped the usefulness of the 30% off by making the sets that qualify MSRP. Possibly for today only. My recommendations are TRU Exclusives Hoth Echo Base and/or Gold Leader Y-Wing.

Don't forget, 30% off does not show up until items are in cart, and you have entered address infromation. On next screen type in 955146 in promo code section, and viola. If you exit out and renter TRU site a view cart you can see discount applied. Also appears that you can only use up to three items for this in a single purchase. At least that is the limit it was giving me. So three Gold Leader, or 2 hoth, 1 gold leader, etc.

How do you add the code if you want to check out with Paypal?

For paypal, go through the regular checkout option instead of the checkout via paypal, then choose paypal as mode of payment in the final step. There should be an option for discount codes in the final step.

I bought 2 Gold Leaders and a battle pack. It wasn't a simple online buying experience, but without the guidance of folks here, I don't think it would have worked for me at all. Thanks for the guidance and advice.

That's odd. Worked fine for me yesterday. So it was just giving you an error that the promo you entered did not apply? Might have to call customer service - a TRUe joy of an experience if there ever was one. Good luck if you have to go that route.

I just did in store pickup and got 3 of the battle packs, no issues other than a box that's a little mangled.

I have not been able to enter the coupon code. I got to click "show" under enter promotional code and nothing happens. I do not get the drop down box to enter the code. Anybody else have that problem? Using mozilla.

Yes, I have had the problem. Just open another browser up, like Internet Explorer. Then just keep going back and forth with multiple purchases.
