Managed to get Grand Emporium and Diagon Alley yesterday.

yup, me too. i grabbed the two sets. waiting for pet shop or maersk train to appear. hopefully during the dang long neck's b'day or bricktober. :-P

Oh, that'd be nice timing for sure. Pet Shop would provide another $150 option (with Diagon, GE, FB) for pairing. Maersk would provide a pairing with Fire Temple and the Super Car. Need the SSD to pair with Death Star as well. Perhaps by the holiday season?

Not sure if anyone answered this. There's even more hoops to jump through. When you do get your reward money, I think there's only about a two week window to use it in. And if you earn, say $10, they'll issue you two $5 coupons with non-overlapping time periods so that you can't use them both at once.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong. But all in all, like someone else said, the TRU rewards are only "slightly better than nothing at all".The couple times I've gotten the cash coupons, I end up just using them to buy an impulse set or something.

The rewards that I just got yesterday (from July spending) are good until Sept 30th and some are good Oct 1st - 15th. I hate how they make it so you have to make two trips to the store and can't use it all on one purchase.....very

Good point on the return snafu. That's why I usually just buy an impulse set valued at around $5 or a couple or CMF packets.

Yea, I hate that. I bought a Star Wars Calender before they added $10 to the price, used the $5 coupon... then realized I shoulda just spend another 10-15 to get the freebie or discount when you hit $50.... I wasn't able to return the item and rebuy it again with the other item and get the $5 off again... tried to see if they would just ring the other item separately and honor the $50 freebie/discount and they said no. I was upset to say the least, especially with the amount of money I spend there.... I probably could have got the Manager to help me out but I didn't wanna make that big of an issue of it..

Does TRu at least email you to let you know the reward s ready. And if you can't stack them ugh, what a waste. I will likely use them for minifigs or polybags just to use them. Most of their 10 dollars sets are marked up to 15 anyway so its not worth it at all to use the coupon there. I really was hoping to stack, also not have a 3 month wait for them to process. thanks for all the info

I think you do receive a generic "check your tru rewards" email when they come as they go to my alternate email. As for stacking, I've never had a problem using them on top of a sale like bogo or even when only specific lines or sets are on sale.

I've even had 2 5 tru bucks that I can use during the same period... Once maybe.. It's just very rare and they would prefer to forcem you to make two separate purchases
