I did it last week. Plus I got free shipping. can't beat that. I wasn't able to get BOGO. but if they keep doing that, I'll try again with modular sets.

Thanks for posting this so timely on Saturday!

I ended up getting the King's Castle ($104.99 but close enough to MSRP) and Medival Market Village Saturday at midnight. I was going to wait until today in hopes of M/C Monday but was afraid MMV would be sold out, I'm glad I pulled the trigger when I did.

I don't see it available today. Was it a one time thing for 7/18?

Mastercard Monday doesn't seem to work for me either. I had ordered last night worried that they'd be sold out today, but I figured I'd see if I could reorder today and cancel the previous one if the $25 off deal was still going. Doesn't seem to be that way

If any American is willing to help me out here by purchasing for me a couple sets and then having the having the shipping address be to a shipping depot right beside the US-Canadian border, PM me. Basically, I am asking for you to help me purchase it, then I will pay you back.

EDIT: Nvm...they ran out of stock for the Grand Emporium.

Mine here in Greensboro, NC says the same... but the website still offers the BOGO 50%, so you can purchase online. If you were planning on bigger set purchases, your shipping is free with 75.00 purchase or more. Some sets can also be shipped to store, when available.

Does anyone know why TRU cancel orders? I am from overseas, but i am paying by paypal and ship to a Florida US address. Can't call the toll-free number from overseas, so I cannot ask them what's the reason behind. Contacting them will take them 24 hours to reply, by then, the BOGO offer will be gone. Btw, I manage to order the Fire Brigade and Emporium when they are still available. Now Fire Brigade is out of stock. Does anyone know? I am so looking forward to this order, but it got cancelled.

I decided to break down and get two red cargo trains (3677) sets today to take advantage of the BOGO sale. I was really close to getting the extra 20% off. However the computer wouldn't accept it when it was scanned. So they were trying to figure out why. Of course they figured out that the coupon wouldn't automatically stack :(. So they wouldn't override it. Oh well, still a good deal. I'll use the coupon on something else.

I was able to pick up the fishing boat and use the 20% one item coupon. Basically it turns out to be $4 off the first item and $10 off for bogo50 on the second item.

New sponge bob sets also worked with bogo

Most likely diff paypal address and shipping address. If the billing and shipping addresses are the same it should go through.

Yeah. They were saying different billing and shipping address. But I have found a way to solve this issue, too bad the offer oredi ended. Hopefully there will be another BOGO. How often do they have this offer?

I would call them and explain that they cancelled the order, and ask if you can still take advantage of the offer. Most likely, they will accommodate. I realize you are overseas and mentioned you can't call, have you tried google voice or skype? I know some people overseas that have had success that way.

BUT what if you were sending a gift to someone? Then the billing and shipping would be different (unless you are sending yourself a gift ;)). That seems crazy for TRU to cancel b/c of that. People must send gifts.

If you are able to contact them I they probably would honor it, especially if you said you were mailing a gift to a friend. Can you e-mail them?

I managed to get a friend in Canada to help me contact them regarding this matter cos I can't call the 1800
from here. And yeah i should have told them I sending it as a gift. Do you think I should email them again and quoting my cancelled order? Really really want to get that 50% offer to contribute to my sky high shipping costs. I managed to add the Grand Emporium and Fire Brigade to my cart while they were still available.

It can't hurt to try, I've never gone through CS via e-mail so I don't know how long it takes. Are the FB and GE instock now? When I got my "raincheck", they had me place my order online and then I called them to request a credit back to my credit card. OR I could have called them to place the order. For me it was easier to place it online and call for the credit. BUT since you can't call them directly this might not work for you that easily, unless your Canadian friend doesn't mind pretending to be you once or twice more.

ETA: they did not give me time limit on my new order, I was able to wait til both were back in-stock. And the credit came through fine.

Good luck.
