Thanks. I saw the action to add the ARF and get free shipping. Went all the way through the checkout process and it appears to have still charged me for shipping. Either it's not fully "available" yet, and the action is on there prematurely, or the shipping will be taken off later. I don't recall how this normally happens with free shipping. I'll be calling them later today to confirm my order.

If it is showing up at checkout they should have to honor it. I would definitely call them.

My order was already in "processed for shipping" mode, so they couldn't exactly cancel my order, but they will reroute the package back to them and get me a refund. For compensation they're going to send me an extra ARF trooper. Excellent.

Thats for sure the sale, its live in the UK right now. If it was different here that would be nice, as the 20% off the Tantive doesnt even bring the cost down to the USD price from the CDN price.

Was there any [USA]deal better than 20% off at Tantive IV in before? I have never seen this set on sale since I have joined ToysNBricks. For canadian shopper, 20% off US MSRP isn't a bad deal.

I've never seen a deal like this since I've been on this site as well. Everytime there has been a 'sale' where you can try to add it, it magically goes "Not available for shipping". Technically you could get about 10% or so via Target Red Cards and other 'hidden' sales, but you are correct, this is definately the BEST deal on Tantive IV they've had... That will be my ARF qualifying purchase and finally cross out all the large SW sets! =) If only they would discount the Death Star, Id snag a 2nd one of those for future Lego-Recouping =)

The prices are also live in Canada. I guess the best deal here is The Republic Dropship with AT-OT Walker, which is $70 off. Not as good as last year's mixup/price error where it dropped down to $80 but now on sale for $280. The Tantive IV is also $40 off from $200, on sale for $160. That's the one set that I'm slightly tempted but feeling a bit meh.

So are these the deals that will be for the 2 days or will tomorrow bring different offers?

No problem, but the one that got the $80 Craiglist deal wasn't me; according to the thread it was Luciant who got all those City sets for a ridiculously low $80. I wouldn't have minded if I was able to get such a deal though .

Ture, this sale is not too attractive. Only few sets are on sale and half of those are only 10% off. The entire promotion seems to be a clearance sale to me. IMO, the best part is getting free Shadow ARF Trooper.

Nps. I've created a little spreadsheet for my Lego Collection to keep track of alot of that info. Tantive was one I missed during X-mas and had been paying the price for ever since. Just pulled the trigger on mine as well.

I'm rather disappointed with this sale TBH. Very few sets on sale, and kind of weak discounts as well. TRU is kicking butt this year in terms of who has the best sales/deals. Toss us a bone with the Shuttle or Death Star at 10% off at least?

JUST got my order (checked it as I posted) conf# for my Tantive. Hmm... minifig not included... and I even called to make sure... oh well, 1 easy Lego call away.

-Side note- I'm actually looking to sell/trade that lot I bought... I had most of the sets already and a few of them have a minor piece or two missing and I'm OCD with 'complete sets'. If anyone wants to make an offer for trade/sale I'm open to it. =)
