There are more slopes, jumpers and 1x1 w/stud-on-side pieces with a number of other specialty pieces.

There is a good list here.

True, but at the cost of $10 more. Again, if they add a minfigure, base plate then I can justify the extra $10. But it is still a pretty good deal for those wanting to stock up for what ever somthing good, something bad or a little bit of both reasons. Just remember to leave a few for others, what goes around comes around, and if those do not listen, they might CHOKE on it like in a horror movies.

My local Walmart limited the purchase one box per family. I took 2 boxes at check out and they only sold me one box. In fact, only 6 boxes left when I was there at 8am. They were gone very fast.

I went to two Walmarts during the week, and both had them (in the aisles, and sort of a mess) but yesterday both were sold out.. online was definitely great while it lasted with 6% from gcr.. guaranteed someone bought like 40-50 of them to resell though

I usually buy 2 - one for the family, and one to gift. (Occasionally, I'll do a small flip or trade with others for sets I want).... but it is really sad to hear about people buying many multiples for the sole intent of making a profit. I sent out the link to some friends I know, and by the time they go to it in the evening on Thursday evening (before Black Friday sale even started!), it was already sold out online. My local Craigslist has multiple posters trying to sell these buckets for $100+. Please flag them as prohibited to discourage this practice.

Neither Walmart in Peterborough had them out early, checked both on Thrusday. Took a quick run in Friday morning to the Lansdowne location and got two - one for each of my boys They were selling like hot cakes when I was there. Website was showing 'out of stock' at both locations by early afternoon on Friday. Thanks for the post, really appreciate it.

Not likely, as these were sold like hot cakes and Black Friday is coming to an end. However, if they don't have them on the floor, ask the sales rep to see if they have more on the back. One time, I saw them taking some out from the back when a customer ask them about it. Not all reps have a clue since some may not know what you are talking about, but some do. Last time a sales rep was surprised that her co-worker was able to locate some on the back. Good Luck

Has anyone received shipping confirmations on the second batch that was made available on Dec. 5th? Phantom stock?

Cedarbrae Mall WM has 3 Duplo towers left on a separate shelf in the Outdoor Section next to the Toys section, still at $40 too.

Wow count yourself among the lucky then...

I placed an order for 1 on November 26th, but got a order cancellation notice yesterday (Dec 15) with no explanation.

Oh well, it was an impulse buy anyway...
