75053 Ghost 19.88 at B&M Walmart

Yes, the $90 set #75053 that just came out was selling at Walmart for under $20. It was due to an ad error, the picture they used is for Ghost but it was supposed to be for 75048 Phantom set that normally goes for $25.

I picked up the last one they had at one store and when I went to check out, it rang up the original $90. I didn't realize the ad I saw was wrong and showed them their own ad paper. After discussing with higher ups for a while, they allowed me to buy just one (was a last one anyway) at the error ad price and they put up ad correction notice since the ad is still good through tomorrow.

One $90 new set for only $20. YMMV, find Walmart store that has this set without the ad correction notice and bring ad paper. I did not try for price matching at other store. The ad is a thin 1 sheet 4 pages all toys ad that either came in newspaper or may even be available at the doors.

I am attaching picture of sales receipt if you want to print it out and show it at Walmart that someone was allowed to buy a $90 set at $20 price.

Walmart is known to accept a fake $200 bill but called police on someone who tried to use a genuine $100 bill (and even ripped them, a felony IIRC). From a store who keeps covering up use-by date with newer date so it'd seem like product hadn't expired yet (ever try a week-old doughnut? Hope you got steel teeth!) From store that has a terrible time with old stock that is no longer listed on corporate's inventory (local store still has 8547 on "clearance sale" of 279.00) From a store whose employee doesn't know the difference between rutabaga from rhubarb and showed me apples when I asked for orange.

The only thing I won't to is steal outright. Taking advantage of an error (even just once) may hurt them but it's not stealing. (ethic is another matter) Taking LEGO out of the store without paying or with fake UPC label would be stealing and people have done that by distracting store greeters to push cart full of sets or printed up UPC stickers with code for cheaper sets.
