Does the movie come out next year? I'm surprised we are getting such a big wave of sets. Love the snake tribe people and the wide range of sets and vehicles.

Movie comes out in 2016 I think. Well, according to Wikipedia it does.

I think I like this wave. certainly the anacondrai stuff. The purple and dark tan with dark blueish grey looks good. the minifig headgear looks great and the minifig assortment is ok. I kind of like that these seem to be humans the ninja are battling. The nindroids didn't really grab me and the snakes designs were a bit too out there for my taste. Humans in snake themed armour seems more fitting. But what do I know.

I will be picking up the orange ninja set. I believe the character is called Skylar if I've read the box correctly. How could I resist an orange ninja. Not terribly stealthy all these rainbow hued ninja are they? Oh well they have mad skillz to make up for being so loud.

Fitting? This is a theme based on ninjas fighting skeletons in monster trucks. Then they went to snakes, rock monsters and cyborgs. If anything the ninjas fighting snake cult members are the least fitting in the series.
