Idlehands has once again published the list names for three new January 2015 LEGO Movie sets. They have an image of the 70817 Batman and Super Angry Kitty Attack. It looks like a small set, but from the box size and pieces (115), it will be priced at $9.99 USD.

I'm looking forward to getting these sets! I enjoyed building the Seacow & hope they'll be another large LEGO Movie set soon.

I'm very excited to see that I will be able to get a version of Angry Kitty (and batman and micromanager/parts) for $9.99. I'm not sure but it sort of looks like this batman is the same as the other black suit Batman minifigs with only a different face. If $9.99 is the correct price the set will fly off the shelves. Any chance of Michelangelo (the artist) showing up in a set? I would love that.

Bad cop car chase is pretty nifty. His car is quite beefy. Makes the Chopper copper motorbike look puny. Nice to get both though. Hope the Chopper copper helicopter shows up later in 2015. (Something that occurred to me when I remembered how Bad cop converts his car to the flying version, is how he's a master builder. Funny it's never mentioned in the movie. Perhaps it was in a scene cut out for time or it was just not worth delving into why he turned bad.)

Ghost Vitruvius in the double decker couch set is the highlight for me. Absolutely the best minifig ever.
The Benny, Emmet, President Business with smiling face and Unikitty are nice, as are the double decker couch and Emmets car but nothing comes close to the awesomeness of the Vitruvius minifigure.

It's a shame all the characters are ones previously released in one form or another. If there's a second 2015 wave I hope some of the unreleased background characters get included. One of the best things about the Lego movie sets so far has been the inclusion of those briefly seen characters.

Finally alternate versions of Unikitty that are NOT in really expensive sets AND Benny in a cheaper set? YES! I had considered purchasing Benny for my son on Ebay or bricklink but didn't want to pay $10 or more for him. Finally I will be able to purchase him in a cheaper set! I HOPE 70818 LEGO Double-Decker Couch will be $19.99 (US) since the Cloud Cuckoo set was $19.99. I can hope

I think I've probably paid the price of the set just to get the Benny, spacesuit Wildstyle and Astrokitty minifigures. One of these days I'll learn to save up for the pricier sets

A blog I like to read has more pictures. Double Decker Couch. Batman & Super angry Kitty Attack. Bad Cop Car Chase. Hopefully the pricing on these sets will be in line with the rest of the previous sets in the Lego Movie line.

Agreed, this was a great idea, although I'd imagine he'd be pretty easy to build out of most of our collections. It's actually kind of a shame that it's NOT a 'regular' Vitruvius, however, seeing as how he was one of the figures that was difficult to get outside of the more expensive or hard-to-find sets in the line: Lord Business' Evil Lair, MetalBeard's Sea Cow, or that silver tin "movie theater" promotional set (with regular legs instead of the slope brick), or as "young Vitrivius" in the EiA edition of the movie itself. I'm sure a lot of kids' collections are missing a regular Vitruvius.

True. another chance to get regular Vitruvius would be good. I counted up and there will be ten variants of Unikitty by spring next year. Slight overkill methinks. Still at least Lego haven't gone down the route of flocked or chromed or transparent Unikitty. When that happens you'll know they're literally milking you for every penny they can.

I don't know, UniKitty was obviously very popular, so I don't think it's surprising that there are so many variations of her. She sells sets!

I think the Wyldstyle figure in Bad Cop Car Chase should have the hood-up piece. There is only one set that I can recall that included it - "The Melting Room".

At least the melting room was on the cheaper end of things though.

I'm not really a Unikitty fan. Ok as characters go and for what she represents, but more irritating than cute for my tastes. I got the regular one and the astrokitty variant but that's enough for me. I also find it annoying that you only have to look at the darn things and the heads fall off. Dreadful clutch on those round 1x1 plates.
