Canadian who bought from Amazon UK
Hey guys,
If you have experienced it before or have an idea about what it could be, thank you for your time.
I ordered two lego sets from Amazon before Christmas. I checked my CBSA postal import form and the $$ does not fit with my credit card bill. I ordered for around 90 CDN (Value for duty) after shipping and EUR conversion. I get the GST, PST and the handling cost charged for an extra 23 CDN. That's around 115 total, but my credit card bill makes it to 145 which is around 30 dollars more than supposed.
Am I getting screwed by my bank or I miss something?

Re: Canadian who bought from Amazon UK
Hi, amazon UK use GBP not EUR and it has higher exchange rate.
Re: Canadian who bought from Amazon UK
correct, gotta use pounds for the conversion, not euros. And the Cdn $ has been nosediving lately, unfortunately.
Re: Canadian who bought from Amazon UK
So it's my mistake. CBSA are mixed up then, stating on there forms that it's Euro..
Re: Canadian who bought from Amazon UK
That would be a CBSA error in your favour then right?
Re: Canadian who bought from Amazon UK
yeah, probably paid less fees, maybe saved a couple bucks haha. Thanks for the info guys.
