The 'fine print' states you must be a VIP member registered prior to Nov. 15th to be eligible for this promotion, sorry! If this is truly a preview of Black Friday, register now - maybe the 3xVIP promo will be available again on that day and you will be in the door to receive it.
Thanks, must you actually purchase something to become a VIP? Like a first order required? I noticed that you need a VIP number or am I wrong? Or are you immediately a VIP just by creating a Lego ID and then joining the VIP program through the website?

Why I ask, because each time I login with me Lego ID, I'm prompted with the "I want to become a VIP Member and agree to the program." checkbox.

^ I get that too and I am a VIP. If you are a VIP it says that next to your screen name in the top right corner.

You mean the VIP icon next to your username, where it says "Welcome user name, complete your membership during checkout to earn points"?

I pulled the trigger on the ewok village. No connections to get that set anywhere else for a good price. the new policy on exclusives starting to affect alternative sources. I had $90 of vip pts from buying some 41999 sets so used it to reduce it to $210 plus taxes (or 30% off). I figure no lego sale in the future can beat that. I rather get the instant reduction than the full triple pts which would have amounted to $10 extra (899-629pts=270pts). I was then going to use the $30 gained from this purchase to buy the winter market set but lego could not process the first order in time for the pts to show up in the account.

If we hold off on this Early Access deal ...

Will there be the same deal on Black Friday? or will it be a different deal?

Will it be a Better deal on Friday or a Worse deal?

None of us can give you a perfect answer yet, what I think will happen is the Lego games will be on sale pretty much like on the UK list. The scatch card or what ever they call it this year will be given out at purchase, most of them will be a keychain. The holiday pick a brick and holiday set 2 of 2 with purchase of xx amount. That should pretty much be it, given Lego have pretty strong sales number in the past year or two, they do not need to put a lot of things on sale to attract customers.

I did the same as most of you-but bought some Duplo train sets for the kids. Clicked "Order" and the busy icon went on for 15 minutes. There was a pending charge on the card but no confirmation email. I called Lego and a very helpful and nice employee helped me through the re-ordering process (as my original order did not go through). I think my total wait was for twenty minutes-but the lady was so helpful and nice it made up for it.

I liked all three deals piling up on each other at one time and i couldn't resist another bridge to add to our (ahem, my son's) train layout.

Have fun.

I placed 2 separate orders. 1 shipped today. The status of the other has said customer service for me as well. I called CS today and gave the order number to the recording message. The recording said the estimated shipping date was today. I'll check again tomorrow. Crossing my fingers it goes through.

I placed three separate orders. The first two went through just fine, an order number showed up in my account, but I never got an email confirming the order. The third one did not show up with an order number. My credit card showed three holds, one for each of the orders. (Noteworthy: none of the orders showed up instantaneously, but I waited a few hours to check)
I called customer service, was on hold really long (20 mins), then got a (very annoying) woman who told me lego only received two orders. So I placed the third one again. Now I got a confirmation email and an hour later I had an order number.
Today I have one order (the second order I placed) "in progress" and two "in customer service".

If stuff is weird with your order I wouldn't sweat it. If your order shows up in your account you're good. If not, call.

Epic fail for shop@home for me.

Went to their website on Saturday, found a couple of items I wanted to buy, and then their website crashed. After about 10 minutes or so of trying to get it to work (thinking the problem was on my end) they put up a sorry for the inconvenience, call us. Well, I didn't have time to sit on hold, as I had places to go, so I came back later and tried again. Well, of course one of the items I had in my shopping cart was gone (couldn't even find it listed anymore, it was gone). And, even though I had over $200 worth of product in my cart, the holiday set wasn't showing up. (Were they sold out or was I just doing it wrong?) Assuming that it would pop in when I went to check out, I went to check out. Not only did the holiday set not show up, but there was no way for me to cash in my soon to expire VIP points. I hunted high and low, clicked every help file I could find, nothing. I was already having a not so good day and this was the last straw. I ended up buying nothing.

This was a great deal for me. I ordered the Winter Village Cottage and after 5% Shop Discover cashback, $15 in rewards points (3x), and selling the Holiday set #2 for $25, I scored this one for <$65. Now to see what, if any, discounts are offered on Friday.

So pretty much LEGO S@H is screwed up and I'm never going to order from them again. Good to know. The only reason I bothered with them was because I had $5 is rewards, triple points and free shipping. The website / shipping went to hell years ago when they went to a third party company.

If I wasted my time calling them would I get triple points and free shipping? Probably not.

And how couldn't my order go through when it went to my credit card?! LEGO you f-ed up big time and I'm done with you. Even TRU has better deals now-a-days.

Just a heads up. My order that the status had been listed as "Customer Service" for the last couple days is now listed as processing.

If you were having a similar issue maybe you should check your status again. Good luck.

Ditto. 1 shipped, 2 in process, 1 left in customer service. Really hoping my VIP points get applied before Friday.

No issues for me on saturday other than the busy website around noon, so I just went back in later during the afternoon and no problems. Surprised to read so many problems with people's orders. With triple pts, I thought no regular price exclusive set was going to be sold out so waiting out the busy website was the route I took.

I did get the email the day before on the event, so I just loaded my cart with most of exclusives I wanted in advance on Friday and then it was easier to delete them when I was ready to checkout or change my mind on saturday before paying. I wish the website could keep vip pts you chose to use to remain active, but everytime you exit or change order the vip pts would reset to 0.

I did not receive the confirmation email on my first order but saw the vip pts removed so did not end up calling customer service. Eventually got the shipped notification today even though I never got the order confirmation.

My order is now in the processing status, after being stuck in customer service for 2 days. Won't arrive in time for the long weekend I have. :(

Is awful to hear the problems people had Saturday. I have expressed to Lego through a higher contact that people don't have time to sit around all day and retry, retry. That one might want to make their purchase and move on to their other plans for the day. Lego may have their hands tied with the IT department, but it's is now evident they have a serious technical/communication problem. Not sure I know of any other company that has a problem getting customers to their web site with legitimate sales going on and can't get the deal done. Wow. Hope the execs are listening here!

Well, all my crazy orders have shipped finally. I would suggest getting up earlier to purchase when they have their sales. Cheers
