August 2013 LEGO Offers + Summer 2013 Sets

I was able to pick up this new co-creation technic set at the local LBS - this set is great and I would say a must buy for anyone that likes the technic line.

I may just have to get a second one but the budget is tight with all the new sets coming out and still needing to complete some of the current ones.

Just got off the phone with lego.com and was told there are no more and there will not be anymore available. Called my local lego store and was told they only received 9 and sold out immediately.

That's the fastest time I've seen a product go from release to discontinuation. Bricklink prices are already double the MSRP, crazy.

Yeah me too, I've never seen an edition retired in under 2 weeks? Also, Toys R Us website says the 41999 set is sold in stores only, so I guess I have to make some phone calls to see if they still carry it.

They only made 10,000 or so, so they went fast. If you wanted one you should have preordered it.
