To further progress the unrelatedness of the original, but tie in to the above, the Redondo Beach, CA store has 3 of the LOTR Shelob sets on endcap at 50% off as of mid-morning Saturday 5/4.

I checked out the Framingham, MA Target earlier today. They had one box of 9470 Shelob Attacks for 50% off.

They, umm, don't have it any more.

I found Weathertop and Gandalf Arrives for half price today. It was a nice surprise, both only had one left -gone now!

You guys are lucky...30% off only here in Hawaii for Gandalf Arrives, Weathertop and Shelob sets. Still picked up the Gandalf ($9) and Weathertop ($40) for myself.

I found 5 Weathertops for $20.00 a box and a Helm's Deep for $25.00 at a Walmart nearby that has been doing a streak of insane clearance. My local Target on the other hand....most I see is 30% off. I get better deals by punching them in the face with their price match policy. If it weren't for that, I doubt I would even step into Target.

Got two Shelobs for 50% off at my local Target yesterday. Left one for others as I'm not a huge fan of spiders ;p.

If your Targets still have any of the previously clearanced Lord of the Rings sets still on the shelves then you might want to check them out. I found a couple of Gandalf arrives sets for $6.48 each and 1 Shelob set for $5.98 :) - other than that everything was gone.
I also searched many more Targets for another Unexpected gathering on clearance, but was never able to find any others. I am assuming this must have been a return to a store that no longer carried them. I sure hope they start clearing out some of the other older sets soon.

I found a couple of Creator sets on clearance. Power Mech 31007 for 30% off at $13.98 and Blue Roadster 6913 for 50% off at $7.48. I also picked up another LOTR Shelob set for $5.98 and found an old Superheroes large Hulk figure for $1.86 ??? It was marked "online item".
I looked at a few other stores for more Creator sets, but most of them didn't have these same sets in stock any longer.

I checked my locals today and 1 of 4 had this deal, a $40 MSRP set that ends up less than $15 after the clearance price gets BOGO'd with a Redcard. There were 3 on an endcap and I couldn't pass up a pair at that price! I think it's YMMV, so good luck everyone.

Funny thing, I also found the Creator Blue Roadsters marked down at 2 of 4 locals. 1 store had it 30% off while another had it 50% I had to buy one at 50% just for the blue pieces at less than 5 cents per brick, with the Redcard of course.
