Cool. Can't wait to see the actual product.
Who is General Failure and why is he reading my hard disk?

Too bad I will never see any of them. TRU hasn't had series 9 for at least a month now, No Target has them, and I'm sure series 10 will be a pain to find too.
Saves me some money on actual useful sets.

The toy soldier is included with a minifigures book coming out some time soon (this year). He wasn't supposed to be in this series - reports of that were based on assumptions made from parts found on the Lego website.

Seems appropriate that the gold figure is the monopoly guy, since that's what you'll need to be to afford him. Hahaha

Nice! Finally some decent figs after a few boring series. Might have to get the Golden Figure, the Paintballer's gun, and maybe the skydiver, based on what's on his back (can I hope for an epic parachute?). Clap clap LEGO, clap clap.

Is that the one on the top right? I thought he was from the Village People.
Why do we drive on a parkway and park on a driveway?

Trendsetter does look like Paris H. However, the minifig's outfit was not as outstanding/forerunner as the singer's outfit at CMF2. I am just not sure if TLG would name this minifig as "Trendsetter".

Good luck on trying to get the Golden Figure! (He's minifig #17 of the case.) Only 5000 are made so it is a treasure hunt. How many cases do you think they produce? 500,000? One gold figure per 100 cases?
LEGO is pulling this trick starting with Series 10 and will also be in Series 11 and probably all future series.

Let's see how much the resellers bite on this one by ordering more boxes than usual in hopes of getting one. I just hope LEGO moves away from the 2 only for some CMFs and have at least 3 of what they think people don't want multiples.

Was 500,000 the real historical number of boxes that TLG has released from previous series?
Let's say half of it, which is 250,00 boxes will be released. Then only 1 in 50 cases. In other words, seekers will have to feel
at least 3000 bags of minifigs. That's crazy. At this ratio, I think my chance in getting this will be very rare.

Here's what will happen.. at least at the Lego B&M stores.. The staff aren't dumb. When I went in to get Series 9, they had them all pre-sprted into bags, and they just grabbed whichever one the person buying minifigs wanted. Fair enough. Smart idea actually.
These guys will molest the minifig bags in series 10 to find the gold ones. Once they do, do you think they will just give it to the next unsuspecting lego geek who walks in the door? no, they will buy it and it will be on ebay or bricklink that night. Am I wrong?

No question it will show up at shopping/auction site.
