I picked up 2 of the Palp. Arrest tonight. I had to use seperate transactions to get the $61 and change each. But it worked.

the palpatine arrest was marked up at above msrp from $89.99 to 109.99 (which is the cdn msrp) so the additional $15 off just brings the discount to what it should have been with the straight 30% off of the msrp
$89.99x.7=$62.99 vs $61.99.

There was a better deal that was not highlighted in the original post. The recently retired republic frigate was marked down at TRU from $130 to $80 plus another $15 off = $65 plus tax (true 50% off). This is cheaper than the TRU canada sale when they had the republic frigate at 50% off (which came out to $77.5 cdn plus tax)

Holy schnikies. Where did you find a Republic Frigate? I haven't seen any since wwwaaayyyyy before Christmas 2012.

in buffalo new york, but all cleaned out before I got there so had to settle for the papatine arrest. There are some frigates in barnes and noble too but only had a 15% off coupon.

Picked up the Palpatine set today thanks to the heads up. I've wanted it for a while now, but was waiting for a deal or enough reward points from S@H. But this worked for me. Now I can put those points towards a real exclusive like Arkham or something.
