Indeed! I've just came back and bought Town Hall!super26 wrote:Wow! You creating a Lego Town, too?TRUKLEDOG_13 wrote:Bought 3 sets this morning for :

I had put money on hold especially for the big modular sets and thought this sale was the right time and place for me to unleash it
Won't buy them at $500 so why not grab them now?

I have a 2 month old son lol. Like every kid growing up I loved Lego but my parents didn't buy me much in terms of sets. I figure for my kid(s) I want them to be able to have a good "toy" like Lego that inspires creativity and lasts. So far for my son I've bought the City Police Station, City Fire Station and Ninjago Epic Dragon Battle (all clearance at Walmart) plus 6 of the 600 and something blocks that Walmart had on Black Friday. I also have MF Vampyre Castle in the mail that I think I'll save for him. The creator stuff as well as the LoTR/Hobbit, and Castle Stuff I build myself. This stuff is just too addictive, I originally planned on picking up the TMNT stuff remembering back when I loved that series as a kid. But I just happen to keep adding more sets and series that I want. The big sets are what do it for me though, MMV has been my favorite so far.super26 wrote:Do you have any kids? or are all these Lego just for yourself?scotts wrote:TRU did reimburse me for the price of Tower Bridge and fire Brigade that I ordered last night. True. These sets will increase in value over the long run, and for those who didn't buy it now.. they will regret it.TRUKLEDOG_13 wrote:Indeed! I've just came back and bought Town Hall!super26 wrote:Wow! You creating a Lego Town, too?TRUKLEDOG_13 wrote:Bought 3 sets this morning for :

I know what you mean, it's very addictive. Got a few Lego Star Wars sets, City Police Station, Town Hall, Fire Brigade, and lots of minifigures (series 7, 8, 9). My wife thinks I am crazy buying all of these lego sets. I am pretty sure she's on another forum discussing with other wives about how their husbands are wasting money buying Lego sets lol.scotts wrote:

I want to grab the Grand Emporium and Pet Shop but it was sold out, I guess I will wake another time. But yeah.. Lego is very addictive.

I tried to collect sets in series, and therefore I passed these modulars up since I already missed the first two. But I will pick the later ones up if they ever go down to 40-50%, but I missed the chance of that $109 Fire Brigade, guess I will wait again.super26 wrote:True. No problem, but for these Amazon US deals we will need to ship it to a US address, since most to all the sets do not ship to Canada.super26 wrote:Thanks for the post.
