I remember I tried to order Fire Temple from them before with a similar situation, they have it in stock at the time, but a week later they cancelled my order saying they were out of stock. Hate Sears, hope they will be the next one to go after Zellers.

city mine is not advertised as being on sale but its listed price is $20 less than msrp so that is a good buy with the 25% off

as well helms deep is is also listed $20 lower than msrp

Those two alone will get you over the $200 to use the coupon resulting in 37.5% off and 33% off, respectively, for the mine ($75 plus tax) and helms deep ($112.5 plus tax)

believe it or not I passed up on the helms deep - I bought these back when bn.com had these for $105 but certainly this deal is bettern than walmart or roughly just $3 more than the amazon.uk sale. Just have to live with a sears label stuck on the box.

The sears label is easy to peel off, but a box the size of Helm's Deep will almost certainly arrive damaged.

Ship to store is an option, but even then, they still just stick a shipping label onto the box itself. I've ordered from Sears online 3 times and asked for it to be shipped to store; two of the times they just stuck the label on the box, while one other time they shipped a Best Lock set to me details in this thread as to why I actually bought a Best Lock set oncein a box they would normally ship a shirt in. I don't remember though if it was always $4 for ship to store option.

I can confirm too that ship to store still has the label put on the box. Might get lucky if you order multiple sets and only one box has the label and the rest don't. 3.95 for ship to store or outlet, 7.95 to ship to home so if you don't live near a sears or one of their outlets (cleaners, big box home store, etc), then $8 is reasonable.

just saw a whole bunch of these 50% off sets from sears show up kijiji likely from people who thought they can make some money and bought lots - well there is a reason why they are 50% off; they are not hot in demand sets and you cannot expect any good return on them yet...maybe not in a long time...

^ Nope, you won't get full RRP until the set has been discontinued for a year and it's Christmas time. The Tie will be $100 for sure - but only if the above have been met (after retire and Christmas).

The Tie was also avaliable at BN for the longest time - with the 30% off Kids Club Coupon and a lower RRP plus I believe even 10% off. I bought it for $40 US shipped to Canada. Makes Sears look like it isn't much of a deal.

However, good for parts nontheless.

i ordered 3 farm boxes and they put them in a big sears bag and taped it all up, then even inside the boxes were still shrink wrapped...i wonder if u got them gift wrapped if they would stick the sticker on the box....

Went to pick up the City Mine and SW Falcon bought at sears.ca. Boxes were in rough shape, labels on the box (not that bad as they can be peeled) but there was additional heavy duty packing tape on the box so that cannot be peeled off. I immediately refunded them at the pick up counter! Falcon not a big loss as only 25% off but the city mine was 43% off!

I was a little luckier. I got my tie fighter that was wrapped with a seasonal shopping bag with a label on it. After opening the bag, I could only find few minor shelf wears. I was glad they had handled it gently.

I had ordered 2 Mines of Moria for store pickup and they both came in their own sears bags wrapped tight but the boxes were still damaged. I'm going to return one and complain about the damaged box. Maybe if they get enough complaints they'll start to actually package them.
