Licensed Themes You Would Like To See

Ya, surprised you haven't seen them. Even after a large sale when the Lego shelves are picked clean my local Kmart always seems too have Angry Bird Knex on the shelves.

Does anyone think The Hobbit is a real possibility for LEGO?

Does anyone think there will be more Batman sets with "Dark Knight Rises"?

I hope they make more batman sets. I think the hobbit is a possibility with the movie coming out and everything and they could make sets like bag end and rivendell. All in all, I think that batman is more likely to come out than the hobbit so probably the odds for either one appearing are low.
We can always hope. :)

I would like Lego: Walking Dead lol. Yeah probably not going to happen but I can hope.

MLB & NFL stadiums. Current and classic. Could release a few per year. Probably wouldn't be too popular outside of USA though.

Power Puff Girls
Snorks

All of those could be included as well as others I didn't list. Some would be more popular than others but there are some real classics there. The problem is I'm not sure how much these themes relate to kids now days. Some things like Scooby Doo seem timeless.

Yeah but, most of those shows are dead. P.S. MB made sets based on The Smurfs.

Seriously, we ended up buying pink brick boxes last year, just so my son could make LEGO Daphne out of the right colors. We'd love to see Scooby-Doo here (and the Jetsons, although my son is probably more of an anomaly liking that show at his age).

I just found out there is a company called Character Building in europe that makes scooby doo figures that are compatible with lego. A quick search shows they do have a mystery machine, though the sellers are limited on amazon and they are a bit pricey. Not sure what MSRP is.

Why the frown face? Are you like me and not a fan of family guy? Or did you want Lego to make the sets? There is absolutely 0% chance Lego would ever make family guy sets based on their current criteria. While that criteria seems to be getting slightly more lenient lately, it is still miles away from accepting family guy hah.

Be happy it is getting made by anyone if you are a fan of the theme.

Knex doesn't have the same restrictive criteria that Lego implements for itself. It is pretty obvious they aren't catering to a specific age range with themes like kiss, the beatles and nascar.

I would love if Lego dipped into the videogame market besides their own video games.

I think they can make a lot of money if they had some licensed sets off of great game franchises.

I'd kill for Lego Metal Gear Solid sets, I'd probably buy each and every set from each wave (each game has its own wave). I'd also like a classic Devil May Cry set (heck with 3 they can make an Orthanc like set, a giant Temen-nigru tower with Dante, Vergil, Arkahm, Lady and demon Minifigures. Only question is if gamers would pay 200 for it!). A couple Resident Evil sets based on Racoon City would be great, imagine a Nemesis minifig?

There's a lot of potential I feel. The Minifigures for video games would be incredible, environmental sets would also be great due to level design. Mario sets would be fantastic, but I know Knex has the license.
