I had to laugh at this -
http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.js ... d=17792396" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
The Gandalf at Dol Guldur (30213) poly bag is now $15.99 at TRU. Crazy price for a new poly bag set, let alone a poly bag with a non-exclusive character too (as Gandalf is already in 3 other sets).
Makes me curious, if the Mirkwood Elf poly will show up higher online, than I purchased them in store last week.

HAHA that's hilarious. It seems this poly was mispriced for TRU at first though since it was 3.99 instead of 4.99... I guess they decided to fix it and pad all the restMarcus70 wrote:I had to laugh at this -

I found the Elf Guard at a TRU in NH earlier today. They had at least 30 of them.

Has anyone seen the Mirkwood Elf Guard poly bags in any of the TRU stores in Washington State?
Re: 30212 Mirkwood Elf Guard & 30213 Gandalf Polybags Spotte
I heard silverdale has a bunch if you are willing to go over there. But it looks like they are online now. Limit of 3 this time instead of 5.

Got a "free" Elf Guard one today by spending $33 on the Golden Dragon set today.

For those having trouble finding this on the shelves, you can try the "Free Store Pickup" option on TRU's website; I was able to buy one out of the stockroom and pick it up a couple hours later :)

For those who don't know, TRU Canada had Gandalf and Uruk Hai polys on sale at 5 bucks a piece online.

Re: 30212 Mirkwood Elf Guard & 30213 Gandalf Polybags Spotte
Don't understand why the Uruk Hai poly is not available at US tru.

Re: 30212 Mirkwood Elf Guard & 30213 Gandalf Polybags Spotte
No idea. It doesn't help either that the polys are 1 per customer.

Re: 30212 Mirkwood Elf Guard & 30213 Gandalf Polybags Spotte
What are the odds of Mirkwoods coming back into stock at TRU? Or are most polys one and done?
Re: 30212 Mirkwood Elf Guard & 30213 Gandalf Polybags Spotte
The elf bag never showed up in the Austin stores, only the Gandalf bag
TRU is out of stock as well, any idea on where else to get these?!

Pretty much the usual places...Bricklink, or the marketplace here (which I see you've done), at Eurobricks or at Brickset.ATXHusker wrote:The elf bag never showed up in the Austin stores, only the Gandalf bag![]()

Well, I know your closest LEGOLAND Discovery Center is in Dallas, but if you find yourself in the area, I would check there. I found Uruk-Hai polys at the Chicago one over the holidays.ATXHusker wrote:The elf bag never showed up in the Austin stores, only the Gandalf bag![]()

Wow, first I've heard of those in the US (at Brick and Mortar stores anyway). How much were they?
Re: 30212 Mirkwood Elf Guard & 30213 Gandalf Polybags Spotte
I think they were $4.99 - Still, I figured I wouldn't see them anywhere else, so I picked up a bunch!Edmond Dantes wrote:Wow, first I've heard of those in the US (at Brick and Mortar stores anyway). How much were they?
