Went to Erin Mills location over Lunch. Quite a bit of Hero Factory stuff left, same for the basic tubs of Lego (Blue & Pink) plus some Duplo ones.

Couple Alien Conquest (7065) left on the bottom shelf.

Other than that, lots of City Ambulance (4431) $24.99 on for $14.99, Mining Truck (4202) $44.99, on for $26.99 and Fire ATV (4427) $7.99 on for $4.79.

Suggestion is to look around Price checkers, people are scanning and dumping lots. Found a couple Duplo sets for my son that wern't on the shelf but had been dumped there that I picked up (First Fire Station and the Alphabet one)

I checked both Brentwood and Oakridge this morning... Nothing "good" left. The only things I saw were City Ambulances, Mining Trucks (TONS of them), Fire ATV, Alien Conquest Motherships, Ewok Attack, Battle of Naboo, and some other misc. stuff like hero factory and the small racer sets.

Same at the Barrie store, not much left, clearly they haven't restocked since the last big sale. Lots of Hero Factory, Mining Truck, Fire ATV, and City Ambulance. A few of the Alien Conquest mother ships, an odd Dino set or two, a ton of Cars sets and a bunch of the Battle of Naboo and Geonosian fighter sets. At least all the LEGO games are now 40% off as well as Zellers has put all board games on 40% off as well. So I was able to get the last two Heroica games for my kids.

I was tempted. My guess is that not many other people think so though... Either that or kids don't want a big mining truck? There was probably almost a hundred of this set left at both Zellers.
My wife loves the mining theme but told me she'd pass on this set even at 27.

We all know who likes it now, mainly Zellers and other retails when they ordered them in bulk! But I recall they had this set on sale at S@H not too long ago, not for $27 but it was on sale.

It's not a bad set overall. It fits in very well with the many other older constructions sets I have... for $27 it's not the end of the world. I agree though - I would not pay full retail for this.

In Canada, $27 is not too bad. If this is "a- must" set for you, then pick it up first. However, I heard that this mining series was not doing good, so this box set could be found at clearance price easily. Zellers is currently carrying plenty of this stock, and I am not worried it will be sold out soon

Went to the store's in Orangeville & Alliston, Orangeville had the same as I saw in Erin Mills yesterday.

Alliston had a bit more. Assorted Starwars sets 3-4 of each, plus some of the Series 2 Planets. Prob 10 different sets all together. Had a couple Prince of Persia & Pharohs Quest with decent quantities, plus some Atlantis and Alien Conquest. City there was a bit more, 2 Fire Planes, 3 Space Centres and they had a couple Garbage trucks, but I bought those. Lots of Hero Factory stuff (Full 4ft section) plus I found a 6858 Catwoman chase that I got for the Traffic lights & other pieces for my City build.

Also had the requisite Ambulance's & Mining Trucks, plus decent quantities of various Duplo sets (Supermarket, Numbers, Letters, Fire station).

I already found that set at the winners store nearby for around $35 or something. I think $27 is probably the best price you can get in Canada under normal circumstance.

I was at the Oakridge store Friday before 10 AM and all the good sets were gone. The aisle was full of people holding the bigger sets and bucket sets. A few people had shopping carts all full of Lego.

Don't think they stocked up since last time's sale as selection was even crappier this time. Three sets available: Ambulance, Mining Trucks and The Hulk. :(

Heck, I was planning to maybe even buy a Mega Bloks Banshee (less than $5 after 40% off) to makeup for my LEGO disappointment. But turns out even those are gone. Sigh.
