My area is getting a lego store!!!!

It was announced on the news today the St. Louis area will have a lego store! I'M SOOOOO FREAKIN EXCITED! Especially considering the closest one to me is 4 hours away in KC. This one will be about 30-45 minutes. Sucky thing is I gotta wait till May LOL! Guess I'll be camping that night

I just posted this too... KC is about 4-5 hours from me too... St Louis is about 1.5... I should be up there on a semi regular basis packing cups ... Where is the line to get in line for the grand opening?

St. Louis, MO Lego store Grand Opening at West County Mall scheduled for May 10-12. I received a post card in the mail today. If you come during the grand opening there is a master builder there creating an 8 foot tall Incredible Hulk from legos. I believe it said if you make a purchase you get to add a brick to the Hulk creation. See you there!

Is the event when they sell the exclusive sets(like the one that is a lego store) or will they do that on the first day it opens(since some places do a soft opening and a grand opening).

The post card I received doesn't say anything about a Grand Opening exclusive. It says to bring your post card to get your piece of the Hulk statue they are building. Doesn't mean there isn't one, just not mentioned. Probably won't know until the day they open. And as far as I can tell this is the Grand Opening, in that it's a 3 day event.
