2012 Holiday Exclusive now $15 at LEGO B&M

Post by zak001 » Thu Nov 29, 2012 5:48 am

If you live close to a LEGO Store and missed out on the holiday promo this year, call your local store; I drove past one tonight that had a couple dozen copies marked for sale at $14.99. Not a bad price considering this amounts to a limited-production holiday "battle pack", with four minifigs and a new-style horse.

Is this deal also available on the Lego store website?

Beh, I can't find it on the site. Oh well. If anyone can find a link please post it.

For some reason calling a winter village set a battle pack instantly brought to vision of hundreds of white 1x1 round plates in a mound with little kids in forts having a huge snowball fight. I think I need to ad to my winter village.

What store was this? I called my local one and they said while they have some left, they will not sell them separately.

Not surprising that they got bunch of them left since this year's sale was not the greatest by any mean.

I like this set a lot. 4 minifigs plus a horse is a good value @ $15 IMO. Not as good of a value as the $20 super hero sets though (I'm a big super hero fan). I wish I was able to get last years Christmas sets.

Austin, TX store had some left. not sure how many. $14.99 each. definitely worth a trip in to your local shop with the new galaxy quest, city, and hobbit stuff hitting the shelves. there's still black friday discounts going on, including the SW advent calendar at 50% off and the minifig display case, 850423 for 50% off..for $4.98. that's got 12 of the door frames (in this case window) and glass panes. those go for $0.25 each minimum on BL, putting $6 worth of stuff on just those two parts. add in some white plates and tiles, and a reissue blue classic space guy, not bad!

Agreed. Anyone see this in the Toronto stores (Sherway Gardens and Fairview)?

Just a bit of info, I had to return my holiday box (and something else) because they were crushed. When I called up to check on the resend, they said they were out of the holiday sets. Was going to escalate because she was adamant that there were none physically in the warehouse. I kept pushing "are you sure you're not just having to say that because the sale is over now?" She assured me she was not.

So, she was either blatantly lying, she wasn't told the truth by her superiors or they are genuinely out of stock of those things with only a few potential remnants at the individual stores.

PS: As it turns out, the original rep had already sent out my reorder, so I did get one of the holiday sets before they were (allegedly) sold out.

They will be for sale in stores starting next week, I believe they will be priced at 15-18$ depending on location. Stores will not be stocked with many so it's best to get them while you can

I bought one tonight at Arrowhead mall Phoenix AZ. It was $14.99. They only had a few. BTW they had minifigure display cases for $17.99. Not a bad deal since they are $22.99 at TRU and I can't find them at any Walmart or Target.

Confirmed at Fairview Mall store in Toronto. Sells for $18 before tax. They still have the Star Wars Advent Calendar I think at half price. My mistake.

I received my order and did not have the set in the box. I called customer service and was told it was a packing error. The set was listed on the packing slip. Then told the item was out of stock.

But then told I could pick anything else around $15 - $18. Picked the new tanker truck that about $20 and she was like ok it's on the way.

The Advent Calendar was half price in Canada?

Wow...I didn't notice I made that mistake until now. If I remember correctly now, it was the brickbuilt calendar. I called and heard the Star Wars one at first but after like 10 minutes it finally processed in my mind that it wasn't that one (at least if I heard correctly) but rather the one that has the two Series 1 Collectable Minifigures the skateboarder and the cheerleader. I never got around to editting my post. Sorry.
