Well, I have to say that I really like this set. Lots to discuss, so lets get right to it.
Here is the front of the box, showing Buzz, Jesse and Lotso being dumped into the truck, and Twitch in an insert. This is a "Limited Edition"

The contents of the box. 2 instruction books, the special mini figure pieces, and the 3 numbered bags. No stickers.
The cover of the instruction book, looks very similar to the front of the box.
The mini figures, Lotso, Buzz Lightyear, Jesse and Twitch. Lotso comes as one piece, although his arms are removable. Buzz has the same removable wings as the regular Buzz, although he's been dirtied up here, and has Lotso and Jesse. Jesse has the 3 stud long legs, and extra long arms, and her head is one piece, the hat doesn't come off. Jesse's facial expression is odd, not sure if she's scared, confused, or constipated.
Twitch is the jewel of this set however, his antennae are removable, and his wings are a solid piece of plastic, and he looks great all around.
From the back, the mini figures. Other than twitch, the mini figures don't really excite me.
The contents of bag #1. This bag builds the dumpster, and the frame of the garbage truck.
The dumpster is a nice solid build, and has wheels on the bottom, although they only move in one direction.
The truck frame. Very solid and easy to put together. Once again, my 4 year old daughter did almost all of the assembly herself.

The contents of bag #2. Notice the 2x4 black tile with the writing on it, that's the trucks license plate and it is a printed tile.
At the end of bag #2, the cab of the truck assembled, with the one extra piece from this bag in the for ground. Very nice looking at this point.
The front windshield opens up, but none of the included mini figures can fit in. A regular mini figure (such as a city worker) does however and you could totally use this vehicle in your LEGO city.

Here is the truck completed at the end of bag #3. The only part my daughter had to have me help with was the mechanism to lift the dumpster up.

And now a quick demonstration of the play features. Buzz volunteered to be the guinea pig. First, the truck slides the dumpster onto the mechanism.
Then, you turn the wheel on the side of the truck, lifting the dumpster up.
As the dumpster goes up, the mechanism catches onto the roof, opening it up as well.
At the very top of the mechanisms range of motion. I had to give the dumpster a little push with my finger to make it dump Buzz and the trash into the truck, but other than that, it worked fantastic. If you lift it up fast enough, it might tip over by itself.
Then, when you reach the dump, the back of the truck opens up, and the trash can be dumped out, as the back section of the truck is hinged.

Final thoughts. The truck is very well designed and put together nicely. I don't know how well it will stay together if you are the type to drive it into walls or off furniture, but it looks to me like it would hold up very well under "ideal" playing conditions. ;) Lots of nice green and blue pieces and an excellent garbage dumping mechanism. The mini figures, other than twitch are really one trick ponies in my mind, and while not terrible, they just rate as OK. The price ratio was high, but not as bad as some other sets in this line.
I give this set 9/10.
