[US/CA] LEGO Store Calendar November 2012
Re: [US/CA] LEGO Store Calendar November 2012
I would really like to get the set, but I won't make it until that Saturday. Hope they don't run out the first day.

I really like this promo set. 4 figs! Fits perfectly with all other Winter sets unlike last year's. Last year might have had more pieces, but this is consistent with the Winter theme.

Wow! They are getting better and better. Hopefully they have enough stock and don't run out after the first few hours.

Although all that delicious dark red was a a huge part of the 'plus column' on last years'.SpaceNinjaDino wrote:I really like this promo set. 4 figs! Fits perfectly with all other Winter sets unlike last year's. Last year might have had more pieces, but this is consistent with the Winter theme.

Last years' wasn't really bad at all. It had nice pieces and was no joke. However, I'm impressed that the new set looks like it could be part of any of the existing Winter sets.vynsane wrote:Although all that delicious dark red was a a huge part of the 'plus column' on last years'.SpaceNinjaDino wrote:I really like this promo set. 4 figs! Have to agree! Last year's the two holiday sets where well done although the second one was sold out within a day it also was the first set to introduce us to the new 1x1 round tile without a stud! I'm also very pleased with this years set which can be integrated with the Winter Village sets! I hope next years version does the same.SpaceNinjaDino wrote:

This set looks really nice. As many have said, it will fit in well with the Winter Village sites.
Is there going to be a second one in December as there was last year?

LEGO, it's not just a toy, it's an addiction... ;)

I spoke w/ the local Lego store mgr, and they said that there will only be one set this year, not two parts.Hodgeman wrote:This set looks really nice. As many have said, it will fit in well with the Winter Village sites.

Great set - can't wait to get my hands on it.
Last year's was good. Way better compared to any other polybag promo!

Last year's promo actually offered set 1 of 2 in October, 2 of 2 during Black Friday weekend in November, not Nov/Dec. But maybe they'll surprise us and have one for December this year (highly unlikely).Hodgeman wrote:Is there going to be a second one in December as there was last year?

Ah, okay... I just remembered there were two last year, but I got my months mixed up. Thanks for the info.vynsane wrote:Last year's promo actually offered set 1 of 2 in October, 2 of 2 during Black Friday weekend in November, not Nov/Dec.
